Hello Martin, i watched couple of videos with the same specs and i saw that they had 150-210 fps, but you have 240 fps + and i wanna ask you if you tweak your gpu or cpu, and if you can do a video of it. I think that tweaking is really good when you have very low budget to buy a new pc
if youre watching videos of 5800x3d you should see similar fps to mine or higher, depending on if they got a better gpu (they most probably have), i also undervolted my cpu (-100mv) because i have a bad cooler so its not running on MAX performance (maybe 5% less). if youre watching cpu's like 5600x and think its similar, its not, the extra cores and much larger cache of the 5800x3d make alot of difference. also tweaking doesnt help much tbh, better hardware does. The game settings also matter ofcourse, im playing on Performance Mode with all Low settings to get the most FPS
@@martinxkk 6 core is more than enough for games. 5600x3d & 5800x3d have basically no performance difference for example.
I have the same settings but a 5600 non x and I probably have less than 200 fps avg aswell. The 5800x3d seems to be really good in Fortnite.

Hi, if you upgrade you buy my cpu, you also need to upgrade your mobo and ram, but you will deff have 180 fps in game then just like in this video because your gpu is slightly better then mine

@@saimon9686 if you have ram of speed atleast 3200mhz then just buy another 8gb of ram at that speed. for motherboard i use the a320m-k, but you need to look what fits your budget and if that is compatible with the ryzen 7 5800x3d, also get a decent cooler for the ryzen 7 5800x3d for even beter performance

You dont need the 3d , it would bottleneck your cpu

Go for the X3D, as the game tends to favor more memory than clock speeds, but I would also highly suggest you upgrade the GPU, cause you’re gonna bottleneck that 3060 with that processor. Maybe upgrade your monitor too if it isn’t capable of outputting a higher refresh rate, otherwise there’s no point in buying anything.
This is what I was saying brother, I have a 240hz monitor and I want to be stable in gaming in the future with a 4070 without having to upgrade to AM5

yes, but you have unlocked fps so that means you have a configuration for it or a 540 hz monitor, if your gpu gives more frames than the hz you get screen tearing... So you must have some config or idk, that`s why i`m curious.

My monitor has freesync and i’m aware of how the technology works, not enough to understand how a high refresh rate monitor has low tearing but I assume at this point its because with higher frames and less time between them the tearing gets lower/almost imperceptible.

hey bro my pc specs are i5 8400 and a 3070ti getting around 240 fps (not consistently) on fortnite however it dips sometimes and was wondering if the 5800x3d will be a considerable upgrade.
that would be a great update but you will need to upgrade you motherboard aswell then ( and maybe ram depending on the speed)
I upgraded recently from a 8600k to ryzen 5 7600. Eventhough my GPU is a 2060 I get quite stable 360fps avg. I would definitely recommend the upgrade.

The 5800x3d is very good for gaming but not so good for productivity, right? for streaming, for example, it is not particularly good, I would appreciate it if you could clarify that doubt for me.
With a Single PC you should stream with GPU (NVENC)
For streaming if you're using a 1 PC setup you use the encoder on the GPU since it's much better due to not affecting your PCs performance. For Nvidia's previous GPUs it's "NVENC" and for their newer ones (probably all 4000 series ones) it's AV1. If you're using a 2 pc setup I don't believe the CPU does that much difference unless you running a high quality tts or other AI things on your secondary PC when streaming like Forsen do lol.

Hi, best way is to always play solo ranked and dont be scared to fight, also to get better mechanics i recommend these maps:
Practice Map: 9510-9643-4467
Infinite Edits Map: 1763-9705-6616
These maps will help you get better mechanics and in the practice map you can also practice your aim

definitely CPU i would recommend am5 that would be a new mobo which either way u would be getting and its upgradeable. and you will need new ram. but you should get the best you can for your budget.

currently after trying some settings, i have achieved quite high fps! my monitor is 144 hz n i'm playing above 160 mostly (with exceptions sometimes when i'm landing, but anyway, even in that exceptions i have stables fps) i have 160-230 fps, sometimes i reach 300 for an instant. just configure the nvidia panel, the speed of the ram in the bios, the high-performance power plan, n some fortnite settings !

the fact that you averaged around 300-400 frames just blows me away. I have a gtx 1660 super paired with an i5-10400F and i get multiple fps stutters and low frames. you think i would benefit upgrading to the am4 platform?

Fortnite is just very unoptimized and overall a 4090+i9 14900k cant hold 240 stable
x3d has a bigger cache, and in benchmarks it has been shown that because of the bigger l3 cache it gets way fewer stutters than other cpus

its performance mode also if u lower every settings and the game looks like ps2 game and u will get higher fps i do not enjoy that i play on medium high and dx12 game gives me 100 fps and looks beautiful
also its a cpu bound game means higher the cpu = higher the fps in your case its 5600x so its a good cpu u will definitely get 220 + fps on high and probably 350+ on lower settings

I believe the 5900x are about as fast as the 5600x in gaming. So perhaps it's the CPU, it's after all a esports game and they are usually more cpu intensive. Are you sure you use the same seetings as the guy in the video? He's on peformance mode instead of DirectX 11 or 12.

Hey there Martinxk I wanted to tell you that you are on windowed full screen which is making you lose about 30 to 50 frames you probably run 300 frames if you switch to full screen
