    My Mardingtop 28 is due here tomorrow. They seem to make good products. Thanks for showing this one.

    Dear Cobalt 04. Sorry, youtube was not loading the comments for replies for some reason. In response to your questions: I would not say it is overkill for school, but it is very unique looking, so you may get comments--good ones and maybe some bad ones, too :)

    Does it have a place to tuck the waste straps in? How's the material? Sturdy? Trying to decidr between this one and the Gonex.

      Sorry for the delay. Yes, you can lock them. There is a clip. If I don't want to use the waste strap, I lock the two in place and make the cord/strap as sort as possible and they don't really get in the way. Alternatively, I could probably stick a velcro and have them really tuck away. I find the Gonex fine, but this one is super heavy duty. Just my opinion.

    My last Heys bag broke with a few textbooks in it. Is this overkill for school.

    8 years later, how is it holding up?

      About six years later, I upgraded to something smaller, but this backpack was still in great condition except for a couple of hoops that I caught on something and sipped the seam. The padding, of course, was a bit flatter over the years of carrying heavy loads. I think we can get bored of it before it falls apart-like Toyotas...

    nice review. I have a question, you do not have problems to the neck with the handle? Thanks bye.

      Funny that you mention that, Valentino. I was fine with it last fall when wearing my rain jacket. I guess the hood sort of protected the neck. I wore it recently in Mexico, with just a t-shirt and noticed it rubbing a bit. I placed my microfibre cloth over my sweaty neck and I was fine. I still appreciate the fatty handle especially with a heavily loaded bag.

    Do you think I can fit a laptop with the size 30.5x39x2.5 cm in it?

    would the straps work for a skateboard ?? cause in the amazon picture it straps from the front ?

    • @galcosta9302
      @galcosta9302  8 років тому

      The straps are strong and meant to hold weight. I can see a skateboard being held / strapped with bungie cords. I am not a skater, however, so I'm not sure how you'd transport one :)

    How does it compare to a 5/11 Rush bag?

    • @galcosta9302
      @galcosta9302  8 років тому

      Dear Appolo. Sorry for the delayed reply. I would say that it is very similar to the 5.11 Rush Tactical. Material, build, and overall quality and function are identical. The 5.11 retails in Canada for between $139 and up to $189 depending on seller. This one is $69.99, so for those who are not necessarily in to brands, it is a solid choice. Have a lovely day.
