I am a Canadian Top Amazon Reviewer. Yes, it does not take much to get to TOP in Canada. There are only a few of us up here :). I post these because I find it difficult to find reviews on specific models or units sold on Amazon--sorry Google, I know you own UA-cam :) In any case, I hope some of these videos come in handy, and that's all. If you like it, you can give your thumbs up, but please don't be a hater :) We do this for fun. Subscribing is fine too, but I am not looking to have thousands of even hundreds. I will be happy just to see that people are watching these very amateurish films. Usually, I use my Samsung Galaxy S5 and other times my Aukey Action Cam Model AC-WC1 if anyone is impressed with the video quality hehe! It's actually embarrassing, actually :) Have a lovely day!
Mens Messenger Bag, Plambag Leather Canvas
This is absolutely one of the best if not the best canvas bag I have ever owned. I will try to divide this review in a few sections to make it easier for you, the buyer, to read and evaluate the purchase of this item.
Quality of material and weight:
++the three materials on this item are: canvas, leather, and metal--there is NO plastic here;
++the weight is as advertised on the Amazon page. I do not find it heavy even with all my teaching materials and 13" inch Macbook Pro--classic non-retina;
++the bottom edges are reinforced with leather so they won't wear out easily;
++the thickness of the canvas and the leather are high-gauge so the bag feels really solid;
++the buckles are faux, which I prefer, and there is a hidden, really well-made clip underneath;
++the shoulder straps are adjustable and again, really strong metal clips to attach to the thick metal loops. They hooks on the strap swivel for added adjustments.
Ergonomics and compartments:
++there are several pockets: two in the front with button clips to seal, the main pocket is zippered all the way with high-quality metal zippers. There is a "hanging pocket" with zipper inside--I use it for my mice and cables, but others might use it for pens, erasers and other stationary. There is also a zippered pocket in the back, the one close to the body, which I use for my cell and other valuable things while commuting in public transportation.
++the shoulder strap is wide and thick, so it does NOT cut into the shoulder, but for those who really load their bags, a padded section would be welcome;
++the leather flap is not just a aesthetic element because I have been in the rain with this bag, and the flap protects the contents really well. I later applied some Scotch Guard TM to further protect my bag and its contents so now the water pretty much beads upon contact.
Other considerations:
++As the bag is made of leather, I would expect it to smell a bit, but it is barely noticeable. After a couple of weeks of use, and the Scotch Guard TM application, the slight smell had dwindled to a light scent.
++One would be hard pressed to find such a great bag at this price. Most "brand name" bags of this type, and quality, are about four to five times the price. I could easily compare the materials and workmanship of this product to be equivalent to such brand names.

What a great surprise! I was way better than expected. When I got this, I figure it would be a nice fan for the computer, but instead I got a clock that is ON the fan, and not a software that installs on the computer. Mardingtop Tactical Backpack

This backpack is an incredible value and comparable to bags about three four times its price. The canvas is very thick and well dyed and there seems to be a hydrophobic coating on it. I am not surprised as Mardingtop is the sister company of Mountaintop which makes excellent hiking backpacks and other gear I own both C..bia and The North' so I have something to compare to. 8 years later, how is it holding up?
About six years later, I upgraded to something smaller, but this backpack was still in great condition except for a couple of hoops that I caught on something and sipped the seam. The padding, of course, was a bit flatter over the years of carrying heavy loads. I think we can get bored of it before it falls apart-like Toyotas...
My Mardingtop 28 is due here tomorrow. They seem to make good products. Thanks for showing this one.

hey. were you able to get the keyboard to change speeds?? the manual says press fn+f1, f2, f3 and it changes the keyboard speeds, and to press the dpi button for 3SECONDS to disable the lights, but it's not working. i figured out how to swap wasd and turn off keyboard lights, but nothing else works.

Funny that you mention that, Valentino. I was fine with it last fall when wearing my rain jacket. I guess the hood sort of protected the neck. I wore it recently in Mexico, with just a t-shirt and noticed it rubbing a bit. I placed my microfibre cloth over my sweaty neck and I was fine. I still appreciate the fatty handle especially with a heavily loaded bag.

Saw an ad on my Facebook feed about this kind of fan/clock, looked on Amazon to find a cheaper price and came across this very item. I ordered it, and I LOVE it, the fan works great, pretty quiet, but unfortunately it doesn't keep time, even after setting the time. The second hand doesn't move except for maybe one notch every few minutes. I have Prime so I think I can send it back no charge, and I'm willing to buy another one after I get the refund.
Sounds good. Mine still works well, but this company no longer sells on Amazon. Sad :( Thank goodness for Prime :)

Dear Appolo. Sorry for the delayed reply. I would say that it is very similar to the 5.11 Rush Tactical. Material, build, and overall quality and function are identical. The 5.11 retails in Canada for between $139 and up to $189 depending on seller. This one is $69.99, so for those who are not necessarily in to brands, it is a solid choice. Have a lovely day.

would the straps work for a skateboard ?? cause in the amazon picture it straps from the front ?
The straps are strong and meant to hold weight. I can see a skateboard being held / strapped with bungie cords. I am not a skater, however, so I'm not sure how you'd transport one :)

Does it have a place to tuck the waste straps in? How's the material? Sturdy? Trying to decidr between this one and the Gonex.
Sorry for the delay. Yes, you can lock them. There is a clip. If I don't want to use the waste strap, I lock the two in place and make the cord/strap as sort as possible and they don't really get in the way. Alternatively, I could probably stick a velcro and have them really tuck away. I find the Gonex fine, but this one is super heavy duty. Just my opinion.
