Hey Mike! I'm ashamed to say we just came across your awesome videos! You have clearly been around for a while! Our 1 year old son is obsessed with trains right now and he gets lost in your videos! So thank you for your time and effort in putting these together!
Awesome!!!! Metrolink’s Ventura County Line has always been my local rail line whenever I go out and see trains especially around the areas of Simi Valley, Chatsworth, and Moorpark among the rest of the places along the line. (Particularly Simi Valley…) I had no idea that it was actually one of the first lines for Metrolink to operate beginning in 1992, that’s soo cool!!!! I have and continue to make soo many memories whenever I see the many different trains along the line, and seeing how much or how little everything has changed over time. Even though the new EMD F125 locomotives are now in-service with Metrolink, not a day goes by that I don’t remember the many times I would see the older F59PH and F59PHI locomotives leading and trailing behind many of their trains!!! But either way, I always enjoy watching and filming them at the many different locations and stations along the Ventura County Line over the years!!! Great video as always Mike and Happy Halloween!!!! :)
Fantastic compilation video. Loos nice and warm in this video also. Enjoyed watching all the catches trackside once again and have a wonderul rest of your Friday.(Steve)
Hello Mike, an interesting video about Metrolink and its five hundred miles of railway lines. Very nicely filmed, the different trains, locomotives and passenger cars. Thanks for showing and have a nice weekend. Many greetings from Germany
Metrolink Ventura County Line as of 2023 is still doing good. I like the Metrolink F125s but their horns dont sound so good. Classic Metrolink F59PHIs.
Great vid and also Happy Halloween and also there is a scene at Bob hope airport train station but the station isn't seen but vanowen and empire way are seen

Happy halloween! Great video, This was interesting to learning more about Metrolinks Ventura County Line, I watched Every train in chicago video and really Enjoyed It, It got me into request if you could make an Amtrak Los angles video pls respond
A few of the F59PH rebuild units are still in service. There are also a couple shots in this video that were filmed before all the other F59s were retired.
I apologize for the whole confusion yesterday. I had a dream that involved you, and wanted to sorta portray it, but I didn't want to depict you out of character. And it didn't help that I only had limited resources to do it with. I hope we were able to clear things up in the end.
It was my video I made the other day involving some dream I had that night where I met you and you were doing this event that didn't quite go as planned.
Sorry, but your video was kind of a waste of time. I wish I had the last 10 minutes of my life back😁. All you did was show the train passing by blowing its horn. There is not much to be seen in Van Nuys, Simi, Moorpark or anywhere else. What would have been nice if you would have taken time at each station to show the surroundings so we would know whether there are any cafes nearby or like in Ventura how close to the beach it ends.
Thank you for the feedback. This UA-cam channel is dedicated to trains and railroads, so showing nearby attractions isn't typically in the scope of subjects I feature in videos. Most of my audience prefers to see the trains with some background information. I may do a longer video about Metrolink in the future and if I do, I will consider adding some more background info about communities the trains pass through. Take care.

It's my local line too. Not very long ago I saw one of their PHRs running north.

Many thanks, Wolfgang. Enjoy the weekend!
Always loved the way the f125s look. While some may not like the horn, i personally like it. I find it pretty intimidating and loud too.
Great video of these Metrolink trains running on the Ventura County Line. Also, tomorrow is going to be my birthday.
