It's funny because my regional transportation company is called Metrolinx. They are owned by the provincial government and built mass transit in all of the major cities. They also operate commuter trains and double decker commuter buses. Right now they are building an LRT system in my city.
4:40 The B line is the Hyundai Rotem Locomotive and Coaches, while, 4:18 The A Line is all the other locomotives with the Bombardier Coaches, and Locomotive.

Awesome video. Cant wait for the Tier 4 locomotives to be in service. Also the AV line has rrally nice scenery since the line runs along the creek, but cant beat the OC line along the coast.
Some of them were converted into coaches and are still used. All the clips of them leading are pert of the "historical look back" in the video that runs roughly from 8:00 to 15:00
Those old school p2 horns will be missed, compared to the dying goose horns on the new metrolink engines and cab cars, these p2s sound as good as an s3l when compared to the new metrolink horns.
Comet I. The Comet I was the first generation of the series of passenger cars known as the Comet series commonly used in New Jersey. This one was leased from a commuter railroad in and around Salt Lake City, Utah known as FrontRunner and is currently in use there. This one was originally built at some point between 1970 and 1973 for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) for use on the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad's diesel commuter trains, was transferred to New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit, or simply NJT) in 1983 when all NJDOT commuter operations were transferred to NJ Transit as well, was retired by NJ Transit and sold to FrontRunner in 2005, was leased to Metrolink between 2008 and 2010 to substitute for the Rotem cars used today, and was returned to FrontRunner in 2010.

Are Amtrak ticket good on metrolink trains ? because some Amtrak trains accept metrolink tickets. Also a few Amtrak surfliner trains will stop at stations that are metrolink trains only during rush hour.
If you have an Amtrak or Metrolink monthly, they can be accepted on either railroad. If it’s a Metrolink single use, 7 day; or Amtrak single use or 10 trip, then you can only use those tickets for the respective railroads. An exception is that of Amtrak trains 759 and 768 (north of LA on weekdays), which I believe any Metrolink tickets are accepted.

I remember when I saw my first and only Metrolink train back in 2008 when my family went to Los Angeles for a vacation.

Metrolink #872 has a sick horn, better than the ones the others have!

Congratulations to Mike and Metrolink😊😄🚄
Wish all the rolling stock had a common paint scheme. The mixture of two styles looks dorky.
