@@CoasterFan2105 did you hear the news that the Cumbres and Toltec narrow gauge railroad is going to get diesels? This comes on the heels of the Durango and Silverton doing a similar thing so that it could continue running passenger services during hot weather when wildfires are a problem. While some people didn’t like the fact that the Durango and Silverton got diesels. I must say that I really like seeing the footage of their historic Alco built narrow gauge diesels, since these are very rare to my knowledge. I think they also might be some of the last Alco built products that were ever made. In any case, I am excited to see what the diesels on the Cumbres and Toltec will look like and what diesel operations over there will be like. Also, I must say that I absolutely adore seeing footage of both steam and diesel locomotives being used in tandem at the same time, such as what has happened at the Durango and Silverton. I wanted to know if whenever you get a chance, if in the future when the diesels arrive at Cumbres and Toltec, if you could attempt to get some footage of them when they start running? Also, do you have any footage of the Durango and Silverton narrow gauge diesels at work?

Ive always been fascinated by Via Rail's 'The Canadian', not only because of its long consist, but the distance it travels. Its the equivalent of taking a train from NYC to LA!
Would love to take it someday! Its a very scenic route, especially when you get to Jasper for that fresh air break. Also, you spend an hour in Winnipeg (assuming your on time) that you can use to go around town!
Awesome video! This is pretty close to where I see trains, and it was cool seeing someone else recognizing the spots and getting awesome shots from them!
I just subscribed to this terrific channel. I grew up right next to the railroad tracks in Woods Hole, Mass, the end of the line for the New York New Haven and Hartford railroad. I wish I had become a Lady Train Engineer!
Our family frequently travelled by train from our village to Toronto. Sadly, the line was discontinued years ago but I retain fond memories of those train rides. Thank you for this video, I look forward to watching all of your work as a new sub!

Cool! I actually recently got a part time job at the South Simcoe Railway, so its neat to see that one of, if not the biggest railfanning youtubers has been there!
Such a wonderful train video, thank you for posting, what is that train at 11:16 it's a beauty and never seen it. I am an n scale train enthusiast and have the gevo ES44 Canadian Pacific in red just like the one in this video. Gave me so much joy.
I’ve watched this channel since I was a little boy.😊 I noticed that the intro went from a nice evolution of trains to just the logo popping up. I wish you could do a simplified introduction of train evolution again. Just a suggestion
Enjoy seeing what the neighboring citys trains have to offer! Im from Montreal! I would like that you could go ro montreal and see what the compititon is like!
This video was made when I went on a school trip to Toronto. We saw a lot of go and at one point Via, but no cp. I love the go paint scheme, it really fits well with the Toronto atmosphere!
Terrific video Mr. Armstrong, the tornoto trains was great success, now, Can you request for new video about the Albany and eastern railway with steam loco #205?
