The handle of Mrs. Floods umbrella is the randomiser from the key to time also if you look at her hands, she’s wearing exactly the same ring as Roman’s one wore. Maybe the black and white guardians are back
The randomiser is what the Doctor installed into/onto the TARDIS console to avoid detection by the Black Guardian. This was after the completion of the quest for the Key To Time. The unbrella handle looks like the Tracer used to find the 6 segments of TKTT.
She an ex landlady of an eastend London pub and she’s a drunk “merry Christmas,Ang” 😂
At this point it wouldn’t surprise me if ms flood was just a huge fan girl of the doctor and is dressing up as old companions

it's interesting that not only the clothes but the dialogue echoes both Clara and Missy? ie- "clever boy" and "that mysterious traveller in time and space known only as the doctor" (which i cannot hear in anything but but missys scottish brouge)
I think she’s a Timelord/Lady for sure. Rewatch The Legend of Ruby Sunday and the Doctor gives reasons for regeneration. Surprisingly he says something like escaping death or to hide. A few scenes later Mrs Flood enters the Sunday’s flat and makes a comment about hiding herself away. I don’t believe that is a coincidence but I don’t think this is the Master/Missy
See I thought time lord/lady then started to rethink I do believe she is a god.. just not 100% certain on which one yet haha!

I had not noticed the umbrella handle. It is similar to the Tracer used by 4 to track down all 6 pieces of the Key To Time. It was introduced in "Ribos Operation", as was Romana and this is the episode in which she wears the white furry coat. This same episode also introduced the White Guardian, who warns of his opposite - the Black Guardian - who also seeks the Key To Time.

I wonder in the back of my mind if she’s got ties to The Silence, or a slow burn Red Herring return for Missy🤔 I know both Moffat & RTD showed interest in bringing either storyline back, & the silence org were able to blend in back in 11’s era + have the tech like Eye Drives going into subconsciouses to obtain vital unspoken info. Maybe that’s how she’s getting all of these companion outfits? But also this is totally something Missy would do, I absolutely anticipate Michelle Gomez coming back at some point, & honestly would be brilliant if it was all Missy 😂
I think she's a God of Memories who has become obsessed with the Doctor and has been following and watching him, through the eyes of his companions. She mimics parts of those she's watched him through and, in Ruby's case, caused the snow and music to appear from her memories. It would resolve the Ruby thing, explain her mimicking outfits and the fact that she can break the fourth wall.
I feel like there will be some link between her and the memory Tardis. One idea I had was that she could be the consciousness of the memory Tardis.
But I like your theory too. Going with that, maybe she played a part in the creation of the memory Tardis. Might also end up being an explaination as to why the doctors memory of the Ruby road events kept changing.
And if they are really clever, they might even be able to work in a reference to the scene from the 11th doctor era when Amy remembered the Tardis and Doctor back into existence.
she was some cosmic doctor who groupie trapped in another dimension but spying with a camera on the tardis so when she escaped and came to earth she thought normal people dressed like the dr's companions and copied their attire :)
Based on the finales impact I imagine your theories will be way more remarkable than what the actual story turns out to be
She's a regenerated Mary Poppins who is also a time lord. She has a bag that is bigger on the inside.
White guardian? A personification of all companions, made real in this land of fiction? A fan? A demigod who is a massive fan of the companions?

I didn't start noticing the costuming similarities with Mrs Flood until the scene where she's watching Cherry. When everybody comes back to life she says "oh that clever boy," and that made me think of Clara. And THEN I noticed the jumper similarity.
Does it mean anything that the final shot of Mrs Flood includes both the London Eye and Big Ben in the background? A nod back to the 2005 new-Who series' episodes, or just "Look, it's London"?
Ahhh so close... Got back and notice the Doctors clothes...notice the different ways the Doctors outfits...
So, Mrs. Flood is tall. She’s definitely taller than Clara, not sure about other companions. Also, I don’t think we ever see her nail polish. And, before they got dusted she said, "Do you believe in the power of prayer? Then tell your Maker I will come to storm down his gates of gold and seize his kingdom in my true name. I'm sorry, you tiny, little woman.

I think she's the God of Stories, for me that makes the most sense I don't see how it can be the Master, the Rani, River, Clara etc because it doesn't make sense with the fourth wall breaks so my theory is she's the God of Stories and now that the Church on Ruby Road story is over she doesn't need to live next to Ruby anymore which explains the suitcase and now she's probably going to be focusing on the Doctors story which explains why she's wearing old companion outfits because she's dressing as previous companions from previous 'stories'
It is all very similar to Loki.. and how he was the god of stories so it is so so plausible.
@@kylerees3491 in the second Doctor episode , the mind robber, we were introduced to the land of fiction, which had its own head writer. I highly recommend that episode if you have access to it. The headwriter, called in that episode “the master” but he wasn’t that master, began writing the Doctor and companions into stories. A couple of episodes ago I’d have figured a second Doctor story was too far a reach, but then we got Sutekh. And I guess the toymaker was even father back. Do not do much marvel style god of stories, but the story master we got before.
@@CrankyGrandma yes I have seen the story, I was thinking something slightly separate for Mrs Flood though but I have seen the land of fiction being discussed but I think maybe making Mrs Flood separate is better for new fans as they don't need any context for it unlike with Sutekh and to a less extent the Toymaker

The doctor has broken the fourth wall. That doesn’t mean it can’t be a timeline.
I still think Mrs Flood is the Rani. Could Mrs Flood wearing the same clothes as past companions be a reference when the Rani was disguised as Mel in Time and the Rani wearing the same outfit as Mel. Also this would tie in with the big bad of next season following on from Sutekh being chronologically connected with the classic series. And Rani being an anagram of rain and causing a flood at the end of the series.
Hmm.. could be, I still think it is the more unlikely answer though.. Russell would have called her "Mrs Rain" because he is usually that obvious with his anagrams.. look at S Triad and Sue-tech..

It certainly feels like the Rani may be showing up at some point, just because back in Space Babies the Doctor name dropped her when listing time lord names, and to my recollection the other names "The Bishop" and "The Conquistidor" are just names thrown out, with no characters tied to them, but the Rani? She seems like a deep cut if they weren't planning on bringing her back.
I do hope that they got the rights to the Rani and I would be super excited if she’s the Rani
When the Toymaker said that he had made a jigsaw of the doctor's life did we get a definite answer to what he meant....?🤔 The suitcase points to a whole host of places the doctor has been...Is Mrs Flood the "jigsaw" that was created.! Or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely.?
My own personal unbiased head canon, which I decided on immediately after watching EoD, is that Mrs. Flood is essentially a God of Stories.
What really helped me reach that conclusion was that final scene, where she talks about the ‘story’ of Ruby Sunday and it having a happy ending, and then wishes the audience a good night, followed by the cut to black and the end of the episode.
I think her being a God would also explain the fourth wall breaks, her knowledge/recognition of what a TARDIS is, and perhaps most importantly, her knowledge of events that are yet to come. Including Sutekh’s return.
As for her wearing outfits that are reminiscent of previous companions, I’m not sure yet but I think it could either be just for the audience, as references, or to catch the Doctor’s attention. Or both.

My theory: She is actually Susan since we brought it up; all companions and the master wouldve recognized the TARDIS the very first time, not argue about kids doing a prank with an old police box and to 'take it away'. OR, more loosely, could be the doctors daughter?
That part is what gets me, she did not notice it was the TARDIS until it literally disappeared in front of her. That is when she drops the groceries and says, 'oh, this is a TARDIS!'
Anyone companion and the Master/Missy would have recognized it straight away.
Also similar to East17's outfits in their "Stay Now" video. Incidentally, the 30th anniversary of which will be Christmas of the year (2024), having been the #1 in Christmas 1994. What with the next episode being at Christmas of this year... could it be related? 😉
I'm a bit distrustful of RTD after the Ruby's mum reveal - like he was leading the audience to think of the supernatural, then revealing a normal woman. So, he could be dressing Mrs Flood as companions just to send us on a wild goose chase.
I mean he could.. but remember we still don't have Ruby's full story so we "might" have not have been so let down.. hopefully.. still don't think he would pull another one like that over 2 seasons though just for Mrs Flood to be an old lady addressing the camera etc..
Last time I dabbled in the 14th doctor costume theories none of them were true so I wouldn't look into her costumes
