They do have fast charging capabilities. If you *Google* "TOPK Magnetic Charging Cable,(4-Pack,1ft,3ft,3ft,6ft)3A Fast Charging Data Transfer USB Magnetic Cable" it should be the first link. I bought 3 sets and literally have the dongle parts plugged into phones, mice, headphones, controllers, nintendo switch and ipads, with the cables scattered throughout the house (and car) so everyone can pretty much charge everything anywhere.
Normally when I play games on my phone while charging I will accidentally bend the charger due to the shape of my phone, so the magnetic charger would work better since if I bend it to much it would just disconnect, but I could just leave it there to charge using a normal cable
@@abdulhamidkahya6634 thanks! I’ll keep these in mind, I about a week ago noticed it stays lit and charging if I have the usb end just plugged into a USB port rather than into a cube plug and then plugging that into a wall. So far it’s been great, but thank u.
I got some similar ones from Statik, but I wouldn’t recommend them at all. They worked at first, but a year on… not so much. The charging just keeps dropping out, dropping in, dropping out, dropping in… If it’s a device that’s constantly going in and out if your pocket, the conductive metal plating eventually rubs off the magnet. And the magnet VERY easily lets moisture into your charging socket, so then you can’t charge the phone for several hours. Avoid.
I tried one of these magnetic chargers and in an hour my battery went from 40% to 44%. At this rate it will take a couple days to fully charge. My original charger fully charge in just over an hour so I really DON'T recommend these magnetic chargers. Are there quicker magnetic chargers out there or are they all the same?
You need to get a usb voltmeter to test your charger output in slow charge mode, or try a charger that doesn't have quick charge negotiation. If the charger voltage is under 5 volts or above 5.4 volts, it might be defective. Everything relies on charger voltage output. A longer cable will have more resistance and any non-quick charge cable longer than 3 feet may charge very slowly if at all. So select a short length cable for non-quick charge. Quick Charge operates by increasing the charging voltage to 9 volts or more depending, by negotiating a handshake with a quick charge charger. This higher voltage overcomes the cord length issue.
Is it safe to keep it connected for the magnetic charging pin head on the usb charging port of the mobile phone eventhough its not charging? Please advise me... Thanks ;)

I'm trying to find an answer are magnetic chargers & data cables safe. I've seen many sites saying most people are afraid of the magnets harming the phone which makes no sense to me. I'm wondering why nobody is asking about having the terminals exposed where they can come into contact with conductive materials possibly shorting out the board. I mean these terminal do have the possibility to come into contact with water which is somewhat conductive unless it's distilled and I know that would make you think it's okay but what about metal. I saw similar magnetic cables on amazon, but I wasn't sure how well they would work, after watching your video I have a better idea now. Thanks for the video!
It works sometimes. The difference between these cables and the stock one is the stock one will charge constantly above like 1500 milliamps. These cables can REACH that speed, but they don't stay there constantly. They still do a great job of charging though, they're not weak
Did you test power output? I tried a similar one in store and measured only 0.3A. I have the non rotating type and that will do 1.3A. I suspect because the rotating type only has two pins for power and none for data, it can't negotiate a higher charge rate
Some are the same or close enough to work fine. Specifically, the simple 2-conductor circular/coaxial type. These aren't capable of quick charge negotiation and cannot transfer data, for charging only.
Can these transfer data as well? I'm looking to buy an e-reader and the cables must both charge and transfer files (ebooks) as well. It's an interesting product for sure, especially since the device I'm looking to buy still has a micro USB port (and these are known to fail at some point). Thank you.
Issue with magnetic cables is at some point the contacts wear off. Happened to me with all last 5 cables. It usually last me 1y. However.. still gonna buy the 6th one. I have a charging cable to fast switch between wireless keyboard/wireless mouse and smartphone. Also, the round one is not that good cause it rarely fits a phone-case, or a wireless mouse with an inset charging port. Look for ones that are oval shaped. They fit so much better with most peripherals. Also looks better on the phone.
These are great for micro usb cords specifically. Those have to be the worst ever cord nubs. They broke on me constantly because the little prongs break or wear down with repeated plugging and unplugging making the cord loose and slow charging. Magnetic ones completely fix the problem.
The adverts seem to show a much more powerful magnet that it has in reality. It can easily come apart when charging without realising with a little tug or knock. Dikd you not think so?

Can this magnetic cable be use on Apple phone?
yep, there's a lightning connector included so it will work with apple phones
@@TechBarnYT does it work with iPhone 12
this is what I need because I be dropping my phone plugged in and messing my charger all up
is it dangerous if it touches any magnetic surface while it is on?
Not that I know of no
Basically like Magsafe but better wattage. Magsafe is just 15w
No magsafe is wireless charger.
Other brands will have quick charging or turbo charging or whatever you have what you want to do is search for the length of why you want as well as adding quick charging to the search bar and you'll be able to find some I have three 10 ft cables for around $25 that support quick charging and the only time I broke one was when I got it stuck between the seat of my car and it broke the tip which would have happened with any other charger
I always knew magnets where gonna take over that's why i designed a magnet brick so you can remodel your house whenever you want with cero cost
