I know. The combination is heavy. But I have always been a Canon shooter and wanted the best quality for viewers, that's why I went for R3 rather than R5.
If you like shopping Street like this, I have a video about Shangyang. It has the longest shopping street in China, and in my opinion, also the prettiest.
It’s one of my friends home town when he came to Australia during high school (did went to China but more up north to Beijing and Inner Mongolia state, with a different friend who is from that region).
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. It was our first time in Guangzhou, and we loved it. Definitely recommend to visit the city and Shanghai too!
Thanks for the video, but I have a question Sire : Which city is the thumbnail from please? (Not Guangzhou I think, I have been to GZ 8 times, but I don't recognize this place at all) Thanks again. 🙂
Thank you so much for being here. I really hope you will enjoy the videos. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions regarding China travel.
Firstly avoid coming to GZ during summer. Autumn or Spring is best. Even Winter is fine if you from countries with a real winter. First you need google what’s the cuisine and street food that GZ is famous for. Then you can research what the Michelin guide suggest ( they have a list of affordable restaurants and if you can afford it some higher end places ). Then GZ is very famous for dim sum ( lunch ) , dishes like roast meats ( goose , pork loin etc ) , Chao Zhou cuisine , Sunde cuisine , wonton noodles , braised dishes , food cooked in a earthen pot ( just google ). Then for shopping , there are many markets ( fake bags , footwear , clothing , fake watches, jeans , toys etc ). Then there are those touristy spots like Canton Tower , Rosewood 108 fl bar, Chen house , tea tasting , temples , Grandview Mall , BJ Rd, Baiyun Mountain , Opera house , ErSha Island , Tai Khoo Hui mall , etc ) Then there are more relaxing activities like riding bike along the river ( promenade ) , Party Pier open air bar with view of the river , ferry ride on the river ( Da Sha Tou ferry pier ). That’s my recommendation if you have a couple of days in GZ.😊
Unfortunately I have no choice to visit during May/June as my wife can only get around 4 - 5 weeks off around that time due to the slow season at her office. It's winter for us around those months in New Zealand. I usually visit every second year when the wife visits her parents/family and we live in the Yuexiu district next to Martyrs Park. We often have yum cha on the boat cruising the Pearl River and frequent China Mall or other malls around Tianhe where other family live. Do you have recommendations for really good wonton noodles? I haven't found one yet.
@ Yes I’m a wonton fan too lol. But I’ll figure out a way to write the Chinese names from cheap ( 12-15 ) , mid priced ( 22-25 ) and high end ( 39 - 50) , I wld stick to mid or high. My yumcha fav is prolly Lei Garden in Zhujiang NT , a bit pricey ( 100-150pp) but it’s another level. For great snd cheap food , I’d go to Shunde occasionally, it’s very gd value and quality. Ofc everyone have diff fav as GZ has way too much to offer.
Oh it's so funny that you would find tons of food if you just kept going forward in the street with the temple. But you just came back to the main road with not much food. You just missed so many great local restaurants which was about 20-100 meters in front of you but you turned back.
Amitofo is not Ami Buddha~ It's Amito Buddha. Here the name Amito means "perfect" or "infinite". In the scripture of Amito Buddha, his power is more about giving you a better next life. But in case of making your this life better, Amito is not as powerful as Guanyin.
@@globalhopper2131 Oh I just find my reply missing. Buddha is in a higher class because they are more closed to the truth. The more closed to the final truth, the more far away from the human's life. Generally Pusa can affect the human's world more effectively than Buddha.
