    I’ve been debating buying one of these to add to my emergency supplies. Most videos just show people boiling water for the kettle but not cooking anything. Thanks for this video I’m going to order myself one.

    Great video its great seeing it in action, ordered the smallest model of KK, the trekker model ultimate kit, i think I'll be liking it. -3C is tee-shirt weather lol couldnt resist, middle of winter here is -30C, thankfully we're past the worst of it .

      Thank you, appreciate you watching and commenting. I think you enjoy using the Kelly kettle, the trekker model is great size much more compact. -30c wow that’s cold, where abouts are you located?

      @@LoneWolfExplorer Alberta Canada, this winter was a funny one, our cold snap in January didn't last as long thankfully, I think the coldest it got was around the -40 without the windchill

      @@MrMann703 I would love to visit Canada one day, It looks such a beautiful place. When it’s cold in Canada is it a dry cold, you know like cold and crisp? See here in the U.K. most of the time when it’s cold it’s also wet is very unpleasant being cold and damp :(

      @@LoneWolfExplorer along the east coast doesn't get as cold (still cold) but they get a wet soak into your pants type cold, the prairies, Manitoba Saskatchewan and Alberta are more of a dry but very cold, British Columbia is probably the mildest part of Canada during the winter, they average -5 and are more likely to get rain than snow lol I almost forgot the territories, extreme cold, longer winters. Usually in Alberta 6 months of the year have snow, this year with the exception of a few miserable spells was actually pleasant

    nice calming video, keep up the good work. One note don't boil the kelly kettle with the bung in as it's not designed to work that way.

    • @LoneWolfExplorer
      @LoneWolfExplorer  7 місяців тому +2

      Thanks mate, appreciate you watching & glad you enjoyed it. This is the newer Kelly kettle with the whistle, I believe the older ones are not to be boiled with the bung in. I do need to remember though to take the kettle off the fire and then remove the bung so I don’t scold myself 😬

      @@LoneWolfExplorer thanks for clarifying. I didn't know they had changed the design. Had mine for years so clearly the original design.
