Empower a two tier system that allows parents to decide what they feel is best! If the parents don’t want to be bothered then they may opt out of the system. The best way to resolve an issue is for there to be an outlet or system that empowers the actor to decide what’s best for them! Let people do as they want so long it’s legal and doesn’t infringe on the rights of others. This notification system is good and bad, so just have opt in and opt out right! That would save millions in frivolous litigation costs.
Chino Valley Schools should take a page out of the Biden administration playbook. Just keep the policies in place you believe parents in your district want. Let them take you to court, possibly the Supreme Court to protect the rights of parents to 'consent' to anything as it relates to their MINOR children.
The California Constitution still protects a student's right to privacy, even with regards to the student's parents. The policy of the California Dept of Education is meant to balance students' fundamental privacy rights, with an encouragement of discussion with the student as to when and whether or not the parents find out. The school districts that have come up with forced outing policies have singled out transgendered students for this outing (and not gay students) and many of these school board members have publicly stated their opposition to children asking for accommodations on the basis of being transgendered. This is no more than a way to discourage students from asking for such accommodations which are otherwise required for all California public schools.
I'm assuming you are a bot because if not then you would probably remember that when you were a child that the school and you're parents probably told you that you dont have all you're rights until you tern 18. You have some basic human rights like the right to eat sleep and use the bathroom as well as hygiene, there are parents that are raising their children out of cars and CPS will not take them away if those standards are being kept. As a parent, you absolutely have the right to choose what you're child is exposed to or allow you're child to do. I dont know if you remember having to bring home the consent form to you're parents so you could attend Sex education classes and if you did I'm sure you would remember that if they happened to not be to happy on the idea of you attending those class then you would have had to sit out of those classes and do something completely different then the rest of the other kids. Keep you're religion and you're sexually to yourself because school is not the place to be pushing it on OTHER PEOPLES INNOCENT CHILDREN. You have no right to force anything on the rest of the civilization.
