How dare Phantom play and march. How insulting to DCI for not using props and stages. They should not be allowed to do such things like that. It make the crowds stand, cheer, and want more. They need to be stopped, penalizing, and forced to comply with new ways of becoming like bands. (Long live Drum and Bugle Corps) (Thank you Phantom for holding onto the little tradition that you are able)
Amen to that!!! On a different phantom video post was an apt comment: phantom a great mix of the traditional and modern. The fans and myself LOVE phantom because of this! I marched with guardsmen 75 and 76. Strict rules. Even in that era phantom shined! Phantom Phan!
Crap step 360 into a pull halt into a kick halt then jazz run into a wedge, spin again and jazz run into a chevron is this years closer drill, source = trust me
360s ONLY lol, they have a lot of back to front turns with epic impacts. I know. I looked at that one for a while and considered adding 180s…but I chose not to Even 2006’s turn almost didn’t make it because it was like 270 degrees…but oh well…
Sometimes when I watch DCI and Phantom Regiment pops up, I like to tell my friends “they gonna do it? They gonna do it? 5 bucks they do it.”
Funny thing is, this works with, like, three things: The Spin, the KICK, and killing someone.
When we as a corps watched phantom 93 for one of our “phamily nights” we collectively lost our minds at the crabstep 360. Such a cool visual effect.
360, tight wedge formation, kick out ... PHANTOM!! Forever a Phan!

2021 hits hard
If I could pick one show for PR to recreate step for step and note for note it would be 1993 … no questions asked.

We need to just start calling this the SUTA spin.
There was also one in the opener hit of 2018. Great video! Love the content
I was in 5 of those shows 🥰 I didn't realize it had become such a 'thing' while I marched.
If I was a tech I would make them run specifically that over and over again just to make them dizzy
You are evil 💀💀
Great compilation, but no 1990? They do a 360 in the second piece, "Carnival of the drumcorps", if memory serves.
Jeez 1994 is awesome man!
'04 banger
Dude.... You missed the best one they've ever done. The closer of their 2010 show "Into the Light." Only half a spin, but still, the best.
