It has been mentioned that Sea mounts are the mountains raising from sea floor which don't reach ocean surface and can be of 3-4.5km height. On the other hand mid oceanic ridge are also the mountains which can reach upto sea surface and height has been mentioned as 2.5km. Both are conflicting wrt height. Please clarify sir.
