Hi Amit, I think the sound of the chirping of birds was aesthetic. Don't apologize. Also, Thanks a lot. You have simplified such a vast course of Geography so effortlessly. Your channel is a blessing to a person like me who finds geography boring. Keep up the good work. Kudos!

upper layer of ocean is relatively colder 20:15 upper layer is supposed to be warmer than the layers below i guess, because of the sun rays. and cold water is denser
Yes, sir's statement is incorrect. Actually, the upper warm layer of ocean gets dragged by the easterlies towards the eastern margins of continent (say south america) giving rise to warm currents there.
Started with first video of this series 1 week ago...and here it ends!....literally there could not have been a better start ! Thanks a lot Sir, you earned my respect forever.
@20:17 sir you said , the upper layer of water is relatively cold in nature , seems like an error becuase it sounds entirely counterintuitive based what we read so far. Under vertical distribution of temperature in ocean.
20:15 How come the upper layer of water is relatively colder? When that very layer gets more exposure to sunrays than the lower layer? Please. Thank you sir.

It reduces our time of understanding the topic for long time. So Sir I would like to request you to Start a series of Current affairs on geography for UPSC Optional perspective. It will immensely help us.This will reduce our time of understanding and we can devote more time on revision and other GS subjects as well. Thanks a lot Sir 😊.
Really Thanks a lot sir 🙏 you made geography subject simple for us. Your lectures are price less ... Your lectures made me lover of Geography subject 😍.......
I think, if we follow the trajectory for a cold current, it starts from poles under the influence of easterlies, which push the currents to eastern coast of continents, thats why cold current on east of continents in high latitudes, then as they enter the mid latitudes, they come under the influence of westerlies which drives them towards the west cost of continents. And the continue to move forward along the west coast of continents until they reach low latitudes where they rise to surface and become warm and evaporate or moves polewards as warm ocean current.
I think you have not put the link that you said you will be putting...at 17:45, about forces influencing ocean currents ....it is not in the description link...rather link of easterlies & westerlies is of chapter 10 is there...
conveying significant amt of information within limited time and that too in a lucid manner is the reason i enjoyed as well as understood everything so easily

Isn’t it paradox, In low and mid latitudes, In El Nino concept, easterlies bring the warm surface water of east Pacific to the west pacific- means to the east of continents like Australia. But, Here, easterlies are bringing ocean currents from the east of the oceans to the west of continents rather east of continents. How? Refer video from 19:30 onwards.
You are doing really a great work . Your videos helps UPSC aspirants a lot. And also for candidates who are preparing for other exams as well Please prepare Video on HISTORY - MODERN INDIA AFTER 1857
Sir, i have a doubt at 20:18, you said "upper layer of water is relatively cold" but in chapter 13 you told that upper layer is warm as per thermocline graph. Moreover due to evaporation, the upper layer should be warm. please clear this doubt
amazing video any person who dont like geography can easy understand geography deeply thank u thank u sir for making this types of amazing video again thank you
Sir another importance of Tides is That they help in bringing remains of lost manmade objects to shore. As happened to Austrian coast with the case of lost Indonesian flight ✈️. One spare part of plane reached to the coat and then the almost closed investigation restart by the authorities. So that way Tide also help as oceans are still not very well researched so far.
Sir at 20:21 you told that upper layer of ocean currents is cold but sir there will warm current at upper side due to low density and high temp of water. Please sir clear my doubt
Sir, your work is very much helpful and i appreciated it very much. Very easy to understand with all the back ground images which displayed the words in action. thanks a lot.

upper layer is supposed to be warmer than the layers below i guess, because of the sun rays. and cold water is denser
this made my nuts! how is it possible
Yes, sir's statement is incorrect. Actually, the upper warm layer of ocean gets dragged by the easterlies towards the eastern margins of continent (say south america) giving rise to warm currents there.
