Great drill. There are not many shooting drills where you can get all of the team involved. This is a really important factor in our coaching style. We like sessions to be all inclusive to reduce the time players are standing around, especially on cold and wet evenings. We used this drill for U14's.

Think this is a great drill. With this it opens up other opportunities as the overlapping player can receive and instead of shooting can switch it to a driving 3rd man midfielder to get in behind defenders also, if it is a better option than shooting. This is the kind of movement which encourages the strikers and midfielders creative juices to flow. Thanks for sharing.
After seeing your video I used it in a practice and added on one more move. After the original passer plays his second pass and the overlap is happening I have them run into that created open space. This gives the overlapper the option to dribble in for a shot or play it back out to the corner for the first player to run onto and send a cross in.
Good stuff again coach i heard you say you haven't found anything additional that worked well, i might add a wide player for a cross onto this, so say the group showing on my left looking at the screen! The overlapping player hits a wide player on the right wing by threading a pass through the other group of players and the 2 others from that left group turn and make cross over runs for a cross and finish, but yes this gets me being creative so i appreciate it
