Sounds great. I like my Walrus Audio Eras Pedal on setting 4 and put an overdrive in front of it to get to tighten up in modern way. I take it this pedal sounds good with an overdrive in front of it too like you would in front of a 5150 or Rectifier.
It is my favorite speaker full stop. Got one when they first came out and was hooked. I've had them in my Zilla cab ever since but I'd like a big 4x12 arachnid cab loaded with them too.
@@CTripodi1965 I don't really think so. Recently revisited the waza metal zone and used it in the loop with this same guitar and it definitely is different but I would like to compare the two for sure.
@@MetalHeadProductions i have a reg metalzone and i been messing with it recently running it directly into an ir (to mimic the effects loop setup) and it sounds a lot like the sound you made here
@@Durkhead that is the best way to run a metal zone, they're best as preamps for sure. I did that recently in a video revisiting the wza craft one with the standard mode as a preamp and custom mode for distortion. With my IR and setup the standard mode as a preamp does sound different from this, but the JHS absolutely could be sounding like your setup with your IR. Wonder what the hard driver would sound like with your setup.
I thought it sounded really good!

It does but I just wanted to show off how it sounds on it own
It has good solid voicings. Nice drive.
This sounds killer!
Sounds great. I love that you use a DV 77 IR too, because I use them. ;)

@@MetalHeadProductions I have them loaded in my 2x12, would also love a 4x12 at some point with them. My favorite as well.
Use it as a preamp ..just to see🤘
Dude that sounds awesome
Sounds great!
Metal Zone into the FX loop.
You asking me to put this in the FX loop like a metal zone?
@@MetalHeadProductions, no. It sounds like a Metal Zone in the FX loop. If I didn't already have a MT-2, I would get the Hard Drive.

To me it sounds like a metalzone thats had the bees removed from it
I mean the custom mode on the waza metal zone definitely has had the bees removed but doesn't sound like this.
