I wish you would drop links to the carbon parts & other parts you gathered. Putting my 2003 Eclipse Spyder through a restoration & I like the carbon look. Thx.
This is an amazing video. I'm planning to do a Burgundy and Mint Green interior for my car. This video is pretty much the procedure I'll follow. Thank you!!!
Just want to let you know, as you may have already found out, cleaning and maintaining fabrics that are glued to a plastic surface can be very hard to do without damaging it. Same goes with headliners. If you absolutely need to get something out of them, be very, very careful as to how you do it or else you'll get the same effect as a sagging headliner. hope this helps! Edit: I very much appreciate your use of finesse, skills, and tools instead of just brute forcing stuff like trim pieces. Also, one critique I have is your use of chrome parts that attract oils from your hands. If you do this again, I'd recommend going for matte finishing on the e-brake, shift knob, whatever, just to make it so you don't have to wear gloves when you drive your car to a show. Again, hope this helps! It looks awesome!
Woow ! Wooow ! Woooow ! I was looking for inspiration to change my old Passat. Being NOT a mechanic and knowing how hard is it not to break any clips or plastic knobs, knowing the time to take it... And finally RECORD ALL of this back and forth, and EDIT like PRO with cool music BRO ! -tv programs are not as good as you. Respect!
What a great work! Shooting, editing and final result feel like this video was made by a 2 million subscribers channel not 1.7K Such a talented man 🫡🫡🫡
Your kind words mean the world. I dream to get there one day. Thanks for your support! Hopefully my community of viewers can grow with time. Thank you! 🙌
Most of them are either custom or from Special Carbon. But there's many talented people out there to make parts fortunately. 👍 I can PM you if you need more info.
Drew, I just heard a cover of The Sound of Silence performed by Disturbed. Just wondered if that would be something you might consider to cover? Good job on the car.
I have not, however that's an excellent idea! I really appreciate the input and perhaps I might actually do this when we tackle the audio system. Thanks!
I actually purchased it from Etsy, however the store is no longer around actually. I ordered a lot of extra in case, but its best measure and get a general idea of the square footage you need.
Was thinking of asking where you got the carbon fiber but then I see you respond to everyone but anyone who asks where the carbon fiber is from, that’s unfortunate
They are custom made. I already responded to a few of them. Just not repeating always, sorry about that. They are from a friend of mine on IG. Creative Intentionz.
@@DrewMestel No big deal I just don’t get why if it’s so hard to answer the questions about the CF, why not just link in the description to everyone where you got it from, or even easier just takes 2 seconds to be like “btw guys I got this carbon fiber from Creative Intentions so if you wanna buy his stuff”, gotta give the man his props ya know

The pause, stop, and play on the pedals was ABSOLUTELY GENIUS
So glad you appreciate that! Such a subtle detail that I love so much. As a photo/video/media guy it felt so fitting.
Dude that is some talent man looks so sick! Thats amazing thanks
I truly appreciate it 🙌 I'm looking forward to updating it yet again and making it far better!
Great video. Beautiful interior. That shift knob is amazing.

How are you on less than 1000 subs. The content is top notch and well made
i now right
I thought a purple interior would be hideous, until now. Great work dude it looks insane
Awesome video and exceptional handiwork, Drew!
This is a quality video, and honestly the craftsmanship of it all is great, even if I don’t like every choice you made. Your eclipse is gorgeous.

whhy does this video not have millions of videos?
You are far too kind. New uploads on the way!
Amazing work 👏
You should link your mods!!!
Looks awesome!! Where did you find the fabric?
Thanks! The Fabric Trade on Etsy.
Hey there, just a follow up... It appears the store and fabric is gone. What a shame. Anything to match would have to be re-sourced.
Wow.. wow ... wowowowow thats so f*cking sick😳😱
Where do I buy the carbon fiber parts :) for the eclipse :)

What car is this that has all this aftermarket support for the interior😐

One day, mine might be as clean as yours 😅
I have a long road left to go! But thank you, truly 🥲
Hey you mentioned solid shifter bushings I wanted to know where you got them from?

I have a nearly hour long documentary in the works and progress on the Eclipse is around the corner. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video
Any more videos coming ?
No no all those patches on the center console look awful
Hey dude, your vid got recommended to me 🤝 I’m getting that carbon wheel so thank you.
Can I ask did you wrap the steering wheel column underneath?
Glad that you found my channel 👊 Hope it helps. And I had a custom carbon piece made for the steering column/shroud, yes.
@@DrewMestel hell yeah, I’ll go pester some company local to me😀

Did you do any insulation for road noise? If not please make a video ❤️

Where did u get your carbon parts
Hey man I love ur 3g and I have one myself I was just wondering what size wheels u run and what offset etc... As I wanted the same wheels u have
How did you get the pedals from white markings to gold? Did did you make the boot yourself? Can you list the parts you used?
I masked off and painted the icons. And most of the parts were custom made or no longer available, hence why I didn't link much. My apologies!
Where’d you order your suede and what’s size did u get It in
I actually purchased it from Etsy, however the store is no longer around actually. I ordered a lot of extra in case, but its best measure and get a general idea of the square footage you need.
You got to change them seats bro
Absolutely! I will be doing custom seats to match.
Where did i find those pieces?
when's the next vid its ben a year? u good
I actually have two in progress right now, thanks for asking. Very soon! 🔸️
@@DrewMestel I'm exited and will be waiting
Are they sun visors crusty now
Eh, not quite. Once the dye etches in, you can brush or massage away any excess material. Then it should return close to original texture.
insane
Less is more but this isn't hideous
Totally valid, I agree. Just what I want for this specific car. I'm with you 👍
wow bro
Is that carbon fiber cluster real or wrap?
It's all real. I will never wrap carbon fiber.
