@@garagestory that means a lot. I appreciate you coming by as well. I’m always learning so I try and share the little bits that I know. It’s fun to learn, share, and support each other!
I have the same rolling seat from Harbor Freight. I need to move it around my shop sometimes but it won’t roll over obstacles (air line, extension cord, etc). I solved that by grabbing the seat and carrying it around, but there’s no way to lock the seat to the base as it comes from the store. I drilled and tapped the base tube for a bolt so I can screw the bolt in to exert pressure on the seat tube. Works perfectly but I can take it apart in the future if necessary.
Nice to see you're back at it man! I have been slow in the shop and ready to work on/sell some mowers myself. Keep up the good informative videos! Nice to see the backhoe back out. Back-saver! Take care and have a great weekend! Jon from Nebraska
Have you checked the fuel pump output on the JD 445? I noticed in the last vid that there was a lot of excess cranking to get it started and that it seemed to be starving for fuel at times. I went through this same scenario until I replaced the fuel pump with an OEM unit. It was only like $22 and well worth it. Don’t be tempted to buy those cheap ones off of the “rainforest website”. I’ve been burned twice by trying to use those.
Hello! I don’t remember if it was you or someone else that commented about that in a previous video, but I read a comment like that and went ahead and swapped out the fuel pump at the beginning of the season. That seemed to help! Not sure yet what is going on now. It happened after running it out of fuel. I haven’t had a chance to look into it further yet. As always, thanks for watching and commenting!
I have. I’m pretty sure the magnito is bad. My wiring was over heating, so I disconnected the charging system. I’m planning to pull the engine and take off the flywheel to fix it, hopefully not too long from now.
@@garagestory the one that I have is the type that you roll around like a wheel barrow it's got a 1350 seires engine by Briggs and Stratton the drive system is a belt .I paid $500 for it at the mower shop I use to deal with
Glad to see an upload. I know you have a busy life as well. Thanks for sharing the updates, and look forward to what this season has in store. 😎🇺🇸
Thanks for following along!
I’ve been enjoying your videos, learning some new things

I have a d.r ranger limb chipper which can chip up to 3 inch in diameter limbs
DR is a good brand! I bet it works pretty well. We ALMOST bought a chipper, but it didn’t work out.

Sounds like it was a pretty good deal! Does it do well on the larger stuff?
@@garagestory yes it does but you must keep the chips cleaned out from under the discharge chute otherwise it will get clogged up and cause issues

You’re sitting on too many assets, move those mowers!! 😅
I know!!! I just need more time. And maybe more experience…. But that will come along the way, lol
