You should try a solar battery charger. They're pretty cheap amd You can get bigger ones that will charge more than you expect. You can put the panel on top and leave it clipped to the battery. I use them on my old mowers a lot. I'll clip it on a few days before I plan on using it and the battery will be full when I need it.
You threw away all that great stuff?!!! 😂👍 Yeah, that feeling of having a weight lifted and something cleaned up - totally worth it! Now you can come do my yard! 😂🔧😉👍
@@garagestory This is a similar analogy. If I come across a door that doesn’t function correctly for any reason (striker doesn’t engage, hinges squeak, door swells and won’t shut all the way) I try to get on it ASAP simply because it’s hindering me from passing through every time I use it so it’s slowing down my ability to function efficiently. Once the issue is addressed I’m more efficient and can concentrate on more productive tasks. NOT addressing the issue immediately wastes time and effort every single time I use the door. Added up over time, that door costs me more in lost time than just fixing it as soon as it pops up. Same goes for having to search for tools or parts that weren’t returned to their assigned locations in a reasonable period of time, trash or objects obstructing my ability to move around the shop effortlessly, piles of unnecessary equipment preventing me from getting at useful equipment that still has value, etc. You get the idea. 🔧👍
Yes, those are things I bad about. It’s easy for me to ignore things. And there is the temptation to think if you fix things when they pop up that you’ll never be able to work on what you really want to work on… but you are right, it’s more efficient to take care of things like that quickly. There’s just so many things like that around here. I’m realizing that I need to shift my focus to fixing things around the house that have been put off. So we will probably have some slightly off topic videos!😄
@@garagestory I preach a good story, but I’m in a similar predicament, except I’m 77 and single (again). My get up and go sometimes got up and went, but mostly it’s a question of priorities. Do I fix the leaky faucet or clean that customer’s chainsaw prior to actually working on it. Or do I just take a or partial day off because I’m pooped or waiting for parts on the job currently in hand. Decisions, decisions! 😉
Nice little project you did there! I just have to say i know that backhoe that kept shutting off was annoying to you but it was pretty damm funny watching you keep jumping it! You need to put that on your list of things to fix sooner than later! Stay safe my Friend!
All the time you spent jumping off the backhoe you could have fixed the charging system!!! That should be the next project it would make a good video!!! The second load was a good one I have a trailer just like that one I can say one thing for sure they are some good ones
Are you gonna fix the craftsman LT 4000 soon? Because I have one and I kinda don’t know what’s wrong with it because there’s not much videos out there on it.
Unfortunately,it’s pretty much parted out now, no engine, transmission, or deck. And the hood and seat aren’t that great. Someone else mentioned taking the grill or something and hanging it on the wall. I think that might be a more practical option possibly. We’ll see.
Always great to get rid of some junk and make some money at it too! Nice!
Cut the grill or emblem from your childhood mower and mount it on the wall in your garage.
Great video.
Great idea! 👍
Good thought!
I love that Terra-mite!!!! ...great to see you getting ready for fall.
It has been really helpful to have!
Great job!! Your yard is looking nice!!! It won't be too much longer and it'll be all cleared out😁 The money wasn't too shabby either👍
Thanks!
Hello. Another great video, Lewis
Thanks!

Enjoyed that video
That’s great! Thank you.
Fix that poor loader! That’s one of your primary tools! 🔧🔧🔧👍
I know! I need to do it. Hopefully it won’t be down for too long.
Good video
Thank you!
Not boring at all and informative. I'm sure that you must feel good about getting that done!
Yes, it’s been on the list for awhile. It just wasn’t as much of a ‘fun’ project

Yes, it’s nice! It’s hard to put a value on projects like this, but they are probably more important than we realize sometimes.

I took a load of scrap to recycle center this summer, it felt good. Got lots more where that came from.
Nice!!

It’s on the list for sure! Hopefully before the end of the year, but we all know how that goes…lol!
I predicted you’d hit something in the tall grass. That was a given. The only question was how much damage would you do to the ZT. 😉
Excellent!
Thanks for watching!
Just remember happy wife=happy life!!!!!😂
My wife saves me from myself from time to time.
That’s good!😁

I’d like to get to it soon! We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into a much larger project with the backhoe down for a long time…

Hmmm. Which one is that? I don’t think I was planning on fixing an LT4000
@@garagestory I kept seeing it in the background of the other videos so I thought you were going to fix it lol
Out of curiosity, I went and walked the yard to find the LT4000 you mentioned. I’m not finding any LT4000’s… where was it located?
@@garagestory it was located at the back somewhere where I last spotted it in a video
hi guy. I can ask you. measure the length of the hydraulic cylinder rod of the arm and bucket on your yellow tractor. Please
You need a dump trailer
That would be nice!! But they are sooo expensive.
Restore your childhood mower, its not taking up much room and you'll regret getting rid of it..
