I just learned of your channel a week ago trying to catch up, I don't ride anymore did a few yrs Back, mostly Calif. , Arizona, Nevada, to Many medical problems, so I've been riding through you guys, thanks for your tapes. It used to be my brother-in-law, brother, myself, mostly camped and took our fishing poles, Ghost town and such, drive carefully.
Your videos are what sustains quite a few of us in the off season, up in the North East. On this particular video, I made some nachos and had a beer...just to complete the immersion.
Next time you're in Maine with additional travel days , please stop at Red's Eat's in Wiscasset, Maine. It's on Highway 1 about 20 miles NE out of Brunswick. The Lobster Roll from heaven! Josh, Gaylin, Lance, Laura & Teresa will leave with full bellies & smiles on your faces! Acadia NP is also a must see along with the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Maine is a much bigger state than most people realize.
GOOD SHOW !!! Even watching from the comfort of home I cringed at all those red lights and traffic ! By the time your video was over my clutch hand was even sore !!! hahaha ..... THX FOR SHARING !
Thanks Curtis, we're glad to hear it! We're a little behind on our blogs, which have google maps, eats, stays, history, and all that. We'll be updating those as time goes on so you can always go back and check them out when it comes time to get out on the road. Thanks for the support, we'll see ya on the next one 👍
Congratulations! You survived Boston traffic, and the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts. I know you're trying to make time with a long way to go, but if you come back, do the coast of New Hampshire along Rte 1A. Right on the ocean and a great ride from Salisbury Mass. up through Hampton NH and into Maine's coast, along through Kittery, York and Ogunquit. Then maybe the White Mountains of NH, the Kangamangus, and the Green Mountains of Vermont, across into the Adirondacks of NY. Anyway Welcome to the Peoples Republic of Mass. and into Maine too. I have a summer spot in Maine and love riding the Coast there and into NH and back through Western Mass. Thanks guys, REALLY enjoying the videos
We’re all stoked!!! Another great drop although if y’all stay on those toll roads you’ll have to change the name to 4 lanelife Ha!Ha! Lots of history to soak up out that way. Side note…I loved seeing the beer mugs at Cheers, haven’t seen those in years. Thanks again guys (you know what I’m talking about). 🤘
You're stoked, we're stoked, EVERYBODY'S STOKED! haha We live the 4lanelife from time to time, but ya gota do what ya gotta do! We'll definitely be back that way to explore more of the history that we passed by. Yep, it was cool seeing the Cheers bar and clanking those mugs! Good times with good people, no complaints! Any time Darrell, you got it! 🍻
Thanks for the reply guys! Keep up the excellent and entertaining videos. The quality of your filming and the great editing make them so enjoyable! Not to mention how knowledgeable you guys are on the areas you travel through.
You guys rode through my town on Rt 24 and then past my camp in Maine on your way to Belfast. It's awesome when I recognize most of the roads on these videos.
Being from southern maine about 20 miles outside of Portland and living here my whole life it’s so cool to see people coming up and enjoying the beauty our state has to offer. My best friend and I are planning a huge road trip on our bike that’ll include Sturgis, Yellowstone, pacific coast highway, rt66, and the blue ridge and I’m gonna make a point to stop by Thrashin and hopefully meet everyone in all the awesome vlogs I see coming from you guys and the Thrashin boys. Love to see it guys
Hell yea! We absolutely loved it out there and hope to make it back again down the line. It's funny, we don't always hear about the riding in states off the beaten path like Maine, but there were incredible views all around, great food, and some amazing people. Sounds like you've got some epic travels ahead, those are all great places to see on two wheels! Hope to see you out here🤘
There’s a few decent loops that all start in Bangor, total mileage for all of them breaks 100 I believe, but those are pretty nice if you find yourselves staying over in Bangor for a few days.
Love the Cheers Bar. I went there in 1991. I was working for Stride Rite at the time as their Country Manager for China. A lovely colleague by the name of Katyana Ballantine was good enough to take me there. I immediately noticed that the interior didn't match the TV show and Katyana explained that for the TV show they used the outside Street shot of the bar and that the interior filming was all done on set. I really loved the feeling of being there as I had been an avid watcher of the TV Show. I have to admit I was expecting Woody to be pulling my pint and I kept glancing at the door to see if Norm would appear 🤣
Another great run guys. For all us 2 Laners out here we really look forward to every episode! Can't say thanks enough for your channel and all the excellent content. Keep moving on down that road!
Thanks Michael, glad you enjoyed it! We're thankful for all the support, and love seeing familiar faces in the comments on every video, that's what keeps us going! See ya down the road!!
I can’t wait for spring to hit the road again. Just doing short rides in 40-50 degree weather right now. Boston has so much cool American history, but I hate the streets and traffic there.
So great seeing places I drive all the time. 93 Has traffic all the time. I avoid it like the plague. It's crazy when you go to cheers and it looks nothing like the show. Next time we have to take you to Faneiul Hall Market place to eat. Depending when you come maybe take you all to a sporting event. Lastly a nice ride up to Salem Mass would be fun. Again great video. Here's to 2022 East Coast Trip!!!!!!!!
Fun fact about the tunnels you road thru in Boston. When you see the Blue line of tiles on the wall, you are under water, and the brown line of tiles indicates you are under ground
New Port is beautiful but the roads are horrible. Rt 24 in Massachusetts is a death trap, and nothing good can be said about Boston traffic. Maine is beautiful too, if you have time try to get to Bentleys Saloon in Arundel SR-35, great biker bar, campground and motel.
Doing a great video once again, I've been too NewPort, really a nice town to spend time an enjoy when you have the time.never been up too Boston or Maine,so I will be watching for that one,you guys have a safe trip an enjoy, 👍
Hey inspiring riders from USA! Although I do not live in USA, I have already had an opportunity to ride with a group of american friends from Sheboygan-WI, when I rode to Hillsboro-WI and got back to Sheboygan-WI with them on a late august weekend in 2016, then when I came back to Brazil I bought my Dyna Fat Bob and I replaced it for my current 2020 Softail Fat Boy last year. What you guys do in USA really inspires me to do the same here in my country, and I share your youtube channel and web site with as much friends and fellows as I can. Congrats and good rides!
Thanks for the kind words and support, Marcos! That sounds like a great ride, and we're glad you were able to experience that! Always happy to hear we're inspiring other to do the same, and we're looking forward to hearing about your travels! Ride safe, and we'll see ya down the road..
You guys have a lot of enthusiasm, but I can see where biking in the midwest and northeast can slowly wear you down. Besides all the tollroads and interstate highways and bad pavement, a lot of it's not that scenic. Hope your wives don't divorce you lol ! The best riding in the east has to be skyline drive and the blue ridge parkway. New York has great riding around lake George and up to lake placid. Hopefully you make it there one day.
From Milwaukee to chicago and east ... is really horrible I'm from Wisconsin and i refuse to drive or ride the southeastern corner of Wisconsin cause of all the traffic and non intellectual individuals behind the wheel lol but to say Midwest in general .. rest of the midwest is completely different vibe man, Midwest is some of the best riding, keep in mind most of the footage is interstate, southeastern Wisconsin sucks "it's flat" lol best riding is western Wisconsin or northern WI
Thanks D K!! The toll roads can slow things down, but it's all a part of the journey. The wives cn handle anything, especially on those comfy back seats lol. They had a great time exploring the east coast and are looking forward to the next trip! We ran a tight schedule on this one, but definitely plan to make it back and see more of what the East Coast has to offer. The ride continues!!
Love your videos. Just bought a ultra touring bike and put 5000miles on it in two months. plan on doing long trips in 2022. Your videos inspire me to ride places that I have never thought about. Look forward to the next video.
Hello! My friend. Wow! It's so fun, touching, and admiring motorcycle trip 💜💘💛 video. Especially, the scenery of nature is so amazing and fantastic. Have a lucky 💚💖💝 day. 👍👍👍🤙👌
You were in my neck of the woods ! ( Springfield area) When you left Springfield you should have gone west, great riding in the Berkshires as well as NY state. Rt 2 Ma. ( Mohawk trail) is an awesome ride and don't forget to go up to Mt. Greylock.
Awesome!! We definitely skipped over some great riding in a lot of those areas. After exploring, we definitely plan on making our way back out there to see the 2Lanes! Thanks for the tips 👍
Been riding bikes for 40 years, and I was all about Beelining on my bike to my destinations. You guys have opened my eyes to a brand new world of taking the time to enjoy the journey getting there. Hoping to catch up with you guys on one of my journeys to thank you!! Hello from Canada
I love your Vids brothers can I tell you both how blessed you are to have and share the friendship and comradeship you have would love to share some miles with you two on my Road King
Hey inspiring riders from USA! Although I do not live in USA, I have already had an opportunity to ride with a group of american friends from Sheboygan-WI, when I rode to Hillsboro-WI and got back to Sheboygan-WI with them in a lat august weekend in 2016, then when I came back to Brazil I bought my Dyna Fat Bob and I replaced t for my current 2020 Softail Fat Boy last year. What you guys do in USA really inspires me to do the same here in my country, and I share your youtube channel and web site with as much friends and fellows as I can. Congrats and good rides!
Great ride guys. Zack works his butt off getting great shots of you guys riding. When the trip is over do you take the bikes to the closest Harley dealer and fly home or ride back to Milwaukee? Be safe
Cheers was a very good and entertaining show guys, Boston on the other hand is just another big ass city. Not fun riding through that town, but easier than Chicago.
Thanks Big Al! Always glad to hear it. Just trying new things and having a good time doing it. Those big cities sure can be a hassle to ride through at times, but still a part of the journey 🤘
Can't wait for the next video. A lot of people go as far as Portland and think that they have been to Maine. Looks like you went to Bangor first, then Down East. And all those people who corrected you on mispronouncing the names of Maine towns, sorry. Ride safe.
Hey Peter, thanks for watching! We use GoPros (a mix of 8s and 9s), a Sony A7iii and a DJI Mavic Air 2 w/ assorted shotgun and lav mic. In some of our older videos, you can see links to the items in the description. Hope that helps!
Really enjoy the rides you make. I've had some health issues, bypass surgery and liver transplant, yes, still alive at 70, and I have a Heritage and an Ultra. What do you guys think of a Tri-Glide and would you consider possibly riding one in a video? We're all getting older. Enjoy seeing you riding the Ultra's and Glide's. Thanks from Tennessee.
Thanks for watching Mike, we're glad you're enjoying the videos! Sorry to hear about the hurdles you're going through, but it sounds like you're not letting it stop you from living! If a Tri-Glide keeps you on the throttle, then that's your answer! Still a motorcycle, and still gives that sense of freedom and adventure...with a lot more storage lol. We may have a video in the works tat involves a rider on a Tri-Glide, so stay tuned for that one! Thanks for the support, stay well 👍
@@2LaneLife This spring will b my fourth major tour. 35,000 over the last 18 months. U guys had a hand in me growing a pair and leaving, which was the best bike decision I ever made. Many thanks! This spring? Boston to key west to california where rt66 begins.
I grew up in Connecticut and have ridden around a lot of New England. As cool and historical as it once was... It isn't as motorcycle friendly as it it may have been. The roads a rough and traffic can get pretty bad. However there are tons of roads off the interstate that are scenic. But again... Road quality sucks. Currently I live in Ohio. Better attitudes and slightly better roads but in the western side it's pretty bland for scenery. I'm looking forward to getting back out to south eastern Ohio in the spring.
Right on! We definitely enjoyed the time spent on the interstates out there. Awesome views throughout, and we hit some perfect weather throughout. Some of those roads can be a bit less than motorcycle friendly, but it's all a part of the adventure. Better roads & slightly better attitudes, we dig it haha. Sounds like a good time getting out there. We look forward to making our way back east again! Thanks for watching 👍
He had a good time riding that! He's actually had a bagger (2021 Road King Special) for a few months now since upgrading from his softail, it just hasn't made any appearances in videos. He's living the smooth ride and extra storage, that's for sure! Thank for watching, Kyle 👍
Wow. Wish you guys got to see the real beauty of Massachusetts. Western mass is awesome. Sorry you were in Springfield Mass. one of the arm pits of Massachusetts- rte 146 is not scenic. It’s gross. There’s so many other roads to travel in mass. Should had gone to Rte 6a cape cod. Nicer than Rhode Island.
Can't understand it, why is it a camping video comes up on UA-cam and gets 15k Subscribers and up , watching someone live in a tent with their pet. I mean is it really that difficult to go camping? and then we have the RV travelers with higher Subscribers , really people like to watch others live in a Tin Can? WOW, at least your segments brings out the best of our country and the history that surrounds each state. Peace.
First time I’ve seen your show very cool live in Springfield technically you were West Springfield , cheers a little bar compared to the shows bar if you make it back to Boston go to the north end to eat very good Italian food have family in Maine better riding roads.
Haha when we travel 2-up, we usually rock the Saddlemen Road Sofa or Harley hammock. Even though a super cushy seat may seem like the best option, we tend to prefer something a bit firmer for better support and blood flow on longer mile days
@@2LaneLife Thank you guys for your feedback on the seat, that’s what I’ve been seeing popular is Saddlemen Road Sofa or Mustang seat(s) are super high ratings. If y’all haven’t already done so, y’all need to make your way down to the Hill Country in Texas, great riding country. take care Highway Men.
Gotcha. At the time, we figured that was the same as saying Los Angeles vs West Los Angeles, but looks like its on the other side of the CT River. Thanks for watching, Paul 👍
LOL, like and subscribe seems to make all the difference on You Tube. I am and do because I truly enjoy you ride videos and narrations, great job guys, keep at it.
There's nothing worse than riding motorcycles on the highways and 2 laners of the northeast.. especially Boston to Maine, yuk... You'll missed all the good riding in the area...
I truly wish I could live the dream before my Lord & Savior brings me home, we’re new to the touring family with a 2016 Road King & I literally dream about it daily,, my wife is uncertain about taking long trips though & I tell her she will love it. Thank y’all for sharing & keep 2 on the ground & ride safe.
Definitely an incredible experience traveling on two wheels! Hopefully after seeing a few of these videos, she will be excited for the roads ahead. Thanks for the support🙌
Absolutely Incredible Ladies! Thank you so much I will share with my misses! God Bless Be Safe! Thank you Gaylin and Lance!
What a trip that was! The ladies had a great time coming along for that one. Thanks for watching!
Traffic always sucks up NE. Use to drive a truck up there, pure hell!
Always nice to get back out on the 2Lanes!!
Thanks for watching, Rich 👍

Wow! That’s awesome, not sure we’ve had this comment before! We love it!!
The sound of Milwaukee 8 pumps up adrenaline in me …….❤️❤️
Ours too!!
I’m a new rider (2 months in) and I wasnt sure what type of motorcycle to get until I came across this channel. Baggers all day. Thank you guys!
Awesome! Glad we could help with the decision! Once you go bagger, ya rarely go back! Definitely suits this type of riding. Ride safe, Luis!👍
Content is looking more premium than ever! Great work, guys!
That's what we like to hear!! Thanks Brandon!!
"Let's go Brandon ! "
You guys are a true inspiration! Love your videos. This one was super awesome being from the south eastern Massachusetts area! 🍻
Thanks for the support!! We loved it out there and can't wait to make it back. Plenty more to come🤘

Another great one in your east coast adventure fellas. Lookin forward to the next one. Oh, and you boys could be moonlighting as singers too.
It sure was! Lots of great things to see out there. We'll stick to our day jobs, but gotta sing from time to time 😂

I grew up on the mass ri coast. Now on cape cod. Nice video !
Not a bad place to be!! Thanks for watching, Joel😎
Great ride guys. Zack works his butt off getting great shots of you guys riding. When the trip is over do you take the bikes to the closest Harley dealer and fly home or ride back to Milwaukee? Be safe
Thanks LimitedLifestyle!! We took the bikes to a dealership in Maine then flew home 👍
Ride safe.
We appreciate your comments and support. We actually ended up in Bangor our last two days. You’ll see us in Lubec and Bangor the next two drops.
love it guys !!!!!!
Thanks Rick!!
so weird seeing roads i travel regularly being featured in a video Haha
What an adventure you have on a daily basis. Enjoy it!
@@2LaneLife thanks, i plan to buy a bike this year so hopefully will be on 2 wheels soon to enjoy it!
@@joshuapacheco2898 Glad to hear it!
Cheers boys!!!
Cheers Lynn!
Funny seeing them on 24 riding by the exits I take everyday
Haha small worlds! Thanks for watching, Jake 🤘
aaahhh Lubec Maine. You went all the way East. Question is did you go all the way north to the corner too?
Nope, but we’ll take credit for a beautiful ride to our destinations.
Great video guys
Thanks Danny 🤘🤘
Can you please somewhere give us a run down on what video/audio gear you use - please
Thanks for the support, stay well 👍
Man wish I knew you were riding through. Would have bought you guys some beers. In Newport
We’ll take you up on it next time.
Those sure are some nice bikes
Thanks Cameron
I90 sucks lol I try to avoid it, but sometimes you have to use it to make decent time anywhere
Right, but we had to boogie.
My stomping grounds! There is some great riding here in mass, but not on the pike!
There sure is and we had a blast!!
It’s to bad you skipped Toledo. There is some cool stuff there.
Maybe next time around!
Love watching you guys got a question I got 2 notification of the same Blog Was this a boo boo on UA-cam Sending me to notices
Probably just a boo boo, unless it was a notification for the other East Coast vids. Thanks fr watching, Michael!
Boston is a beautiful city. When is Prince Edward Island? :)
We had a great time but need to come back!
so cal boys on the east cost very cool .
Thanks Lawrence!
How's Josh finding the Street Glide? Looking to upgrade from the Dyna?
We had to make up time. We’ll be back, we loved it out there!
So upset I just became a fan and am now seeing this since I live 10 minutes outside of Springfield MA 😔
We'll be back again down the road. Thanks for the support, Sun King!!
Yey... Just got the 500 like 🤘🤘
Nice!!
Peace.
Thanks for the kind words, Juan. We do what we can, and are glad people seem to be enjoying the content👍
looked like u got lost getting out of boston
Nope, had to find a gas station first and then reroute to the freeway.
Recommend a good app for altitude and temp please.
We're just reading it off of the Road Glide's infotainment screen
First time I’ve seen your show very cool live in Springfield technically you were West Springfield , cheers a little bar compared to the shows bar if you make it back to Boston go to the north end to eat very good Italian food have family in Maine better riding roads.
Thanks Robert and welcome to our family!
Too bad you didnt stop at the rusty can! Best bbq in new england
We’ll be back out there and we’ll have to put that on the list.
@@2LaneLife if and when you do, hit me up!
Wait a minute here, I missed a bike change along the way. I see one of ya riding an Ultra. What happened?
The three of us were on loaner bikes for this trip. Two Ultras and a street glide standard 👍
Quick question, what kind of seats are y’all running in order to get many miles on the seat without your spouses hanging you.?
You left from west Springfield not Springfield
Gotcha. At the time, we figured that was the same as saying Los Angeles vs West Los Angeles, but looks like its on the other side of the CT River. Thanks for watching, Paul 👍
What gps app do u guys use?
Usually just apple maps or Harley nav depending on what kind of route we're on
@@2LaneLife Thanks for the response. Keep up the great work and be safe!
The seafood is so good in Newport and New England in general. Don't get the burger man....
The seafood was great!
Norm!!! "How ya doing today Normie?" " I tell ya coach it's a dog eat dog world out there and I'm wearing Milk Bone underwear".
Normmmmm!!!
LOL, like and subscribe seems to make all the difference on You Tube. I am and do because I truly enjoy you ride videos and narrations, great job guys, keep at it.
Thanks Big Al! It sure does help. The more people we can share with and inspire, the better! We appreciate your support 👊
Love that dirty water!
👍👍
Boston traffic is the best.
😂
👍✌️
🤘🤘
Vayan con Dios los tres carnales
🙌🙌🙌
There's nothing worse than riding motorcycles on the highways and 2 laners of the northeast.. especially Boston to Maine, yuk... You'll missed all the good riding in the area...
Our goal was Lubec and we had to traverse a lot of ground. We know where we want to ride when we come back.
Got to hang them cell phones ladies
Haha they love snapping pics along the way!
Did you stop into West Newberry to see John Cena? No one else has.
We couldn't see him
I truly wish I could live the dream before my Lord & Savior brings me home, we’re new to the touring family with a 2016 Road King & I literally dream about it daily,, my wife is uncertain about taking long trips though & I tell her she will love it.
Thank y’all for sharing & keep 2 on the ground & ride safe.
Definitely an incredible experience traveling on two wheels! Hopefully after seeing a few of these videos, she will be excited for the roads ahead. Thanks for the support🙌
Do you guys have day jobs ???????
We've found a way to make this our day job. When we're not on the road, we're all in the shop/studio 40-50+ hours a week doin' the damn thing 👍
food... highway riding.... footage.... hmm
Good ties had by all!
