I sure wish Harlan Ky had the deer population like yalls. I’ve said four years around here finding a buck bed is a hard thing to do in these steep, thick ass mountains. With zero agriculture I think it’s way harder here in the mountains to determine where, when, why and how! Anyways thanks for all yalls content.
Not only do few have the knack like Dan, but that "knack" combined with huge amounts of scouting equals success. Time in the woods is textbook, thats where you learn, and sometimes fail. Timing, be in the right tree at the right time...
I heard there’s elk in Wisconsin now. I curious to see you guys showing the difference between a mature bucks rub and a bull elks rub. I thought for sure I was on to a great mature buck spot. Then I saw a small bull rubbing a tree. Anyway good stuff guys
Had a neighbor, showed me this giant rub after the season, couldn't figure out why he never saw the giant making the rub and he hunted hard all season. I told him it was a fox scent post, he called BS foxes don't do that. A camera proved him wrong less than a week after I'd set it up. 🙄
@@catchingwildmeats where you at that doesn't have fox, not many places in the northern hemisphere that don't? Wolves and other apex predators can displace them. I could see if your in a area with high wolf numbers they would be few and far between. Grey foxes are pretty cool, they have retractable claws like a cat and can climb trees about the same.

Dan's right about the timing ... Found Buck bedding/sign this fall in mid October, and it was already to late.
You need to finish your interviews.
Ok thanks
Bucks prefer to bed on Oak leaves whereas does prefer to bed on Maple leaves.
Watch video or get sleep before getting up at 4am to hunt?
I have to have someone drop me off or ppl will stalk me.I NEVER use tree stands. You will NEVER know my spots!
