Switching to Palm down was a game changer for me.
@oscar - you have any tips how to avoid shoulder pain when throwing palm down? I think I'm trying to lift my shoulder up to protect my chin in a bad way and when the hook lands it jars the joint.

Great content! Reassuring to know my hooks aren't bad and I remember all the fundamentals but the note you made about adjusting the amount of pivot or how quickly you return to setup combos really lit a lightbulb for me.

The rule that you provided for choosing that angle of the first for a hook (to get past your opponent's guard) -- also a first that I've heard.

Does arm rotate the same time as the hips?
Or does the arm rotate after the hips? Where the hips will rotate first and the hip rotation will wanna rotate the arm?
