@@ColtonCMerrill why would anyone want a 49 s in ms64 vs ms64 fbl that makes zero sense and the 53 s in fbl is the king of Franklin half’s try to find one good luck
Just love how every coin he shows he thinks is a grade or two higher then the professional graders gave them got a long way to go in the grading department or being honest with your coins
@@ColtonCMerrill I agree a lot coins are under graded but there is got to be more over then under and you will get the grading down I am 48 but only been grading looking at coins for 13 years so you will get it
wow great sub for the franklin (my favorite coin currently making a registry set) always look at the back of the ear for a superior high spot on his hair and lines on the top of the head, hairlines. The strike is wjhat makes it a fbl not just the lines on the bell itself. great job man i always enjoy keeping up with you thanks
Man the sales pitches are all the same look at these under graded FRESH coins please a fresh coin is only one that was recently minted now I guess they are saying fresh to grading but all these coins were minted years and years ago and been sitting somewhere so they can be to fresh maybe fresh to getting graded and how are you going get some those coins into plus grades cracking out and sending back into pcgs watch out because that game can go backwards to
I love the thoughts you put into your comments, shows you watched a decent amount of the video. Fresh is exactly what you said, fresh to being graded. And oh yeah the + game is hit or miss all the time. I’ve had 2 point upgrades & downgrades. Also no sales pitch here, just sharing my journey as a coin dealer. Buying something or not, everyone is welcome to watch & comment!
@@ColtonCMerrill don’t get me wrong I love + graded coins I have almost completed the buffalo nickel set and have quite few ms66+ coins the reason being ms67 coins are little out my range but the 66+ is perfect and I want the highest grades I can get you are doing a good job keep it up yes I watch every second but when I comment it’s because not just your doing it but other coin show people to a lot of the speech is repeated over and over ok
@ColtonCMerrill Yeah it seems like a coin toss on wether you get the FS designation or not.Seventies Nick's are tough.I believe I have 77,78, and 79 with 6 full steps.Have to ✓🤞✌️
I appreciate your enthusiasm for coins. It’s great to see. A tiny bit of constructive criticism, say “guys” a touch less. If it were a drinking game I’d be dead by alcohol poisoning!
Nah big dog. Not a weak point at all. You’re actually a very good speaker. There’s just verbal “crutches” we all have to some degree when addressing an audience. Kinda like the way people will say “ummmmm” or “ahhhhh” repeatedly. Another one which is often done by females is saying “you know” over and over again. No worries. You’re doing just fine. And btw, some great coins!
Hate to tell you the 49 s is not the key date in Franklin series that would be the 53 s in fbl anything
49-S is the key date non FBL coin, in FBL the 53-S is considered the conditional rarity :)

Many many coins every day are under graded, ask any dealer we all have our opinions :) still a 20 year old kid, I know nothing!
