Ventilated seats are an option. So is a spare tire ($200). You can also turn off the "Hey Mercedes" voice trigger and use a button on the steering wheel to talk to the car. 360 degree camera view comes on automatically when you're in reverse. Black seatbelts are available at no cost.
What if you want to bring up the surround camera when pulling into a parking spot? Every time I hit the parking button it does not open the 360camera. It’s perplexing.
macan turbo = 434hp, glc 63 = 469 / 63S = 510hp.. the macan t uses a v6 while the glc 63/63s uses a v8.. so the macan t is not a direct competitor to the glc 63/63s.. the grille is called panamericana grille.. my apology for being a "all knowing guy".. biturbo is different than twin, biturbo = 2 equal size turbos while the twin t = 1 small t and 1 larger t.. again my apology..
I am picking up my AMG GLC 43 the day after tomorrow. It has the full luxury package. It is 2018 though but it is very similar like this 2020. When you are talking about the gear it is on, is it showing you or are you “feeling or listening” to the shifts? Thanks for this video… I already had fun like you test driving it and I’m quite excited to have it for good. Peace!
Sport mode I'd use if I want to merge quickly or overtake someone and Sport + is when you want to have some fun on the road I guess. This is why I like Porsche's sport response button which puts it in sport mode for 20 seconds. It gives you enough time for an overtake or merge and then puts it back in the mode you were in previously without you have to do anything.
I’m wondering if I can if I can skip out on the Exhaust package without him losing much of the “experience” while driving one of these... I guess my question is does that 6 cylinder still have a nice growl to it even without the system?
Skip the exhaust system. It sounds plenty good without it, especially in Sport or Sport+ mode. I didn't get it on mine because I'm not interested in showing off or disturbing my neighbors. I don't need a bunch of pops and brrrrrts to make me look cooler. Just my opinion. Some people will disagree with me, but that's fine.
You should not skip the PE option. Everything about the amg experience is about performance and sound. Plus you can turn it off anytime if you need to. Now mind you, I have mine since 2.5 years and still the first thing I do when I get in the car is to turn that Exhaust ON! Also I believe that from a resale perspective, you’ll sell your car faster if you have this option.
Thanks for the info guys. Ended up ordering it with the exhaust. My neighbors have SQ5’s, Macan’s, and QX50’s growling everyday, so I figured why not join the party. I like that you can turn it on and off whenever you want.
Hello Chris! Would you recommend getting this one or the GLE 53 Coupe? I'm looking for a daily driver, I feel like the GLE has more presence, but the GLC seems easier/friendlier to drive (things like parking or tight spaces). Edit: not this exact model, the GLC 63 or the GLE 53
personally been in both and i can tell you that the gle being a bigger car will offer a little bit better ride even being the 53 variant but it can be a handful if your planning on going downtown a lot... the glc is a zippier and more agule feeling car
It's a very good sporty suv for it's price. But the body control or lack of, transmission just don't make it a sports car. There's also 3 models from amg to choose from, 43, 63 and 63s. If you want a sports car feel on a suv GLC 63s is the way to go.
I hate that their using nubuck/suede/alcantara on the seats--especially in an SUV. Dogs? Kids? Anyone? They will wrinkle and look filthy after the first month! Porsche does it too.

@@TheLumberJackedso your car didn’t come with it.
About to pick up a 2022 43. Thanks for a good, honest review
Yours is the best review of this model amg I have found . Great job bro !!

Yeah I was thinking the Cayenne S Turbo not the Macan and BMW X6M
@@SCraig-HandsomeMacan and X3M are the same class as the GLC
Awesome to know
Greatest review of the 2020 AMG GLC 43
Thanks

That's a pretty cool feature, I didn't know that.
Just leave it in Sport Plus, so you don't have to press a button every time you want to have fun.
Loved it!🔥
Thanks 🔥
No one would take theyre amg glc43 offroading u must be insane to do that
How is the ride quality? I have a cla45 and the ride is pretty harsh
I want one. The firm ride would annoy me, but I still want one.
I really enjoyed it. Fun, tossable all-around vehicle.
Chris O'Neill Definitely will surprise some people in muscle cars

The coupe is out if you want 2nd row practicality, comparatively.
Super nice video man 🤩👑 Love your videos ❤️
S+ i like used on unpaved and curbing bad road. more control power like you feel on your steering
Somebody, not saying who, smoked some reefer before filming...:)
Nice Man! I just did a video getting this exact car lol

Okay - I see how fastidious you are about stuff given the dead lawn…. Total fail dude, total fail.
