I totally agree with the joint bank account. My husband and I do the same thing. One other thing we do to make sure we don't fight about each other's interest based purchases, is to give each other a 'fun budget' each month that we can use or save up for future months. for example, if he wants a new video game one month, he can use his fun budget for that, or I can use mine to get my nails done with my friends, etc. An overall household budget is essential though, I think.

We live in Arizona! Specifically in a super cute new community/homes called Eastmark in Mesa! I’ve lived in Arizona my entire life and love it here!! There’s tons of amenities, shopping, restaurants super close by. Eastmark is very family friendly, tons of young families & kids. I’m expecting my first in a few weeks and loving your videos, thanks!!!

I'm originally from McMinnville, OR and absolutely love the area. It's essentially between Portland and Salem so it's a perfect distance from the larger cities.
My husband and I live in Washington right now for his work, but we hope to move back sometime next year. Oregon is just too beautiful to stay away from. 💖

Oregon was actually somewhere I dreamt of moving to until recently. I don't know how far you are willing to move, but I live in Lexington, Kentucky, and really love this city. It has smaller towns on the outskirts if that is what you prefer. It is not a huge city, but big enough to feel lively and there is plenty to do. It has its fair share of crime just as any, but a good balance of different folks. KY can have muggy Summers, but we still experience all seasons. Fall is beautiful and we occasionally get some good snow days. :) Short drives to Tennessee and beautiful mountain areas, not that far of a trip to the beach (gulf, east coast) if that's your thing. Beautiful neighborhoods, lower cost of living. (inflation has obviously affected this), etc. :)
Oregon was somewhere I loved loving until recently. It’s very sad what’s happening to this state. 💔 I’m definitely someone who doesn’t want to live directly in the city but I also don’t want to be in the country. Suburbs are perfect lol and that’s what it sounds like! It seems very similar to the good things Portland has to offer but with less crime and a lower cost of living!! 💛 I love being close to mountains and the beach!
Hi I’m 24 and expecting my first baby boy in 3 weeks (June 17th) and your channel helped me so much through my pregnancy! I love Florida, specifically Brandon/Tampa/Wesley chapel area for the weather, laws we have, and family-friendliness, especially in Brandon and Wesley Chapel. Best of luck either way!

28 years old and expecting baby #1! 💛 (it’s took us 3.5 years to get pregnant)
I currently live in Florida and absolutely hate it lol don’t move here. I’m close to the Tampa area and the traffic is horrible, people are incredibly rude, housing prices have tripled in the last year/two, the weather is horrible (it’s been sooooo hot this year), the lack of seasons makes the holidays feel not as magical, etc. it’s a complete shitshow 😂 I grew up down here, moved away when I was a flight attendant and moved back 6 years ago (I got hurt). While I started dating my husband when I moved back so I can’t saw I regret it, I regret living here for so long again. My husband and I are moving sometime next year and want to be out West somewhere.
Boise, Idaho! Everyone is moving here so housing prices are crazy but my husband and I live outside of the city and it’s nice that I can still drive in and get my Trader Joe’s/Target runs and get the city feel but can still get away from the people!
We love Boise!! It’s so beautiful there. We’re kinda like that with Portland. About 40 minutes away from downtown, but with all the craziness that happens there, I still feel too close. 😖

It's going down hill fast! Riots, skyrocketing crime rates, sex trafficking, cost of living, homelessness and so much more. It's starting to get to the point where I don't feel safe taking my kids to the store. 💔
@@AbbyLindquist I see. Yes, these are definitely things that would have me question the same thing as you. Especially if something as simple as going to the store you don’t feel safe. 😕 I’m from California. It’s definitely expensive but it has a lot of pros and cons (much like any other state) but the biggest con is the cost of living
I live in Washington state🌲It’s beautiful here but I don’t plan on staying for long. I’m from California so I’m hoping to move back to be closer to my family.

It's so different than it was when I was growing up here! Riots, skyrocketing crime rates, sex trafficking, cost of living, homelessness, businesses pulling out of Portland due to constant vandalism and so much more. It's starting to get to the point where I don't feel safe taking my kids to the store. 💔
