Hey guys, I work here on the 21st floor. Did you know there is an elevator that will allow you to go to the very top? Maybe it’s the service elevator but I’m not sure.
A beautiful and fascinating building complete with the missing "13th floor". Sadly they are planning on turning this into a combo of office space and... affordable housing...
I went to San Antonio recently and even though I had a great time (including some elevators), I was unfortunately unable to get the elevators in this building. So, what I am wondering is this. How did you get in there? Did you ask the building manager, or do you know someone who works or lives there?

IS THERE D.U.M.B.S?? Connected to FALLOUT SHELTER?
I started to like this video then you spent half the video showing you riding the elevator. Not good for such a great building you could have shared more.
Since you brought Autotronic up, is OTIS Autotronic and Westinghouse Selectomatic the same thing, just developed by two different companies? Also, do you prefer one system over the other?
I've wanted to go up to the very top of this building for a very long time. The top attic floor with the dormer windows looks amazing.

They do that with every building they skip the 13th floor and for hotels they skip the 13th room on every floor
@@JavierGonzalez-ww8du Yes, it's a practice that's been around for many years. The history behind missing 13th floors is pretty fascinating.

I don't know why this building is banned. This skyscraper can still be used for office businesses and mixed used purposes.
Banned by who and for what?
How can one take this tour ?
There was an old lady who operates the one of the main elevators in this building
The main elevators go 850 FPM which is almost 900 FPM
One suggestion: edit.
This channel's specifically for his un-edited videos.

They’re pretty similar.
@@EWPA14 Along with Dover Computamatic, Montgomery ESP, and Haughton DynaFlite.
I think those were slightly newer models of the same concept. Although I guess Selectomatic Mark V was the newest version of Selectomatic.
How many feet per minute do these elevators travel
awesome freight elevator!
Are they modding the building?
I filmed there
Incredibly breathtaking view @ 3:09 You're welcome.
