I could be wrong, but there have been studies done on this and nobody could find any news articles about a bus full of kids being hit by a train at any point in history here. That is definitely a story that would have made the news.
This was my experience on the San Antonio haunted train tracks. A few of my family members and myself were talking about the story of the kids that died in San Antionio when the school bus they were in stalled in the middle of the tracks and was hit by a train which killed everyone on the bus. We lived in Austin at the time, but we decided to make the one-hour trip to San Antonio to check out these tracks. This was back in the 90's btw and I was in my early twenties, and I was very skeptical of anything paranormal. For me there was always an explanation. When we got to the tracks there was actually a line, so we had to wait our turn to try it out. Everyone was really friendly and polite. So, when it was our turn we drove to the middle of the track, turned off the car and placed it on neutral. After a few moments the car started slowly moving across the tracks and it seemed to gain momentum as we rolled across until it safely came to a stop far away from the tracks. Immediately, I started saying that to me it seemed like it was just momentum because that's what it felt like. There was no sudden jolt or anything like that which would indicate something pushing the car. So, we drove back around and got in line again because we wanted to try it again. While we were waiting for our turn, we spoke to the people in front of us and they said that we should put some baby powder on the rear bumper and trunk area, and they gave us a little to put on. So, we did. I asked my brother if he could get on the driver's side this time so I could follow behind and jog right behind so that I could see or feel anything paranormal. Like I said, I was very skeptical. I was also in my early twenties and used to run cross country, so I was in pretty good shape. So, when it was our turn again my brother stopped in the middle of the tracks again, turned off the car and put it in neutral. Again, the car started slowly moving and gaining momentum as It kept moving along. I was jogging behind it as it was moving all along. When the car came to a stop, again safely far away from the tracks. My brother and family members all got out of the car and met me at the back of the car, and we started looking at the back bumper and trunk area. We did see some faint prints on the bumper. I said the prints were probably there all along and with the baby powder and the vibration of the moving car revealed what was already there. As we were getting in the car (I was driving) I was still kind of laughing and saying I really did not feel or see anything that would indicate paranormal activity. As I was sitting on the driver's seat and getting ready to turn on the car to make the trip back to Austin. I looked in front of me at the windshield of the car and saw something that made my hair stand on end. There were little handprints on the windshield! Maybe like three prints, I think. I looked over to my brother and was like, "What the hell?" I stepped out of the car to check out the prints and I could still see some baby powder residue slightly blowing of the prints. As if something had touched the powder on the bumper area and then touched the windshield. I was at a loss for words or an explanation. I was like something was trying to tell me "Oh yeah smartass. Try explaining this!" This was my real experience as I remember it. Again, this was from someone who was very young and skeptical at the time. After I had some time to process the experience, I really do not think it was the spirits of any kids but something a little more sinister messing with us that day.
I am skeptical too, but I do love a good ghost story. As you can see in this video, they have modified the train tracks and even added a second set. As a skeptical I always find it weird that everyone says stop your car at the hill before the train tracks, I'm like well of course the car will roll. As of the baby powder they say that's the car owner's fingerprints from opening and shutting your trunk and the oil residue shows up with the baby powder. The story is neat and fun, but I don't believe it. People say to go late at night, some say when it rains.
@@darkdimensionshauntedhouse We went in the middle of the day at around 1-3 PM on a beautiful sunny day. There was nothing particularly special about the area or any negative feelings at all. It was just a normal day until i saw those little hand prints on the outside of my cars windshield. Then i got the goosebumps and hair at the back of my neck standing on end feeling. On the drive back to Austin I kept trying to think of an explanation but i just could not. I'm pretty sure we had a vhs tape of the experience but over time it was lost. My older brother was recording with one of those huge cameras that would use a full sized vhs tape. lol.
Video is on 0:40 when I see this: I looked at the video a few times to make sure I am seeing correctly. By the sign that says Bobbie Allen/Shane just between the large and broad V shape, on top of the cream roof, there is a blonde girl wearing a hat. The girl has long hair, and her cap is pointing upwards. Her hair is covering her ears. While on 0:40 of the video: There are 3 or 4 kids on top of the roof of the cream structure between the large diamond shaped space of the tree. Right above this sighting, there is a face of a boy and next to him is a little girl. On the other side of these images, there is a kid dressed in black and white with short hair and he or she is up on a tree. Video is on 0:50, by Richey Otis and Nancy Carole There are at least 5 or 6 kids up on the tree as their faces are visible. Video is on 4:23 with no street name As I look at my computer screen and faces it, to the right-hand side in the trees there are at least 3 faces; one at the very top (a girl), one or two in the middle (and one is a girl) and 2 towards far right. The kids are hanging out together and they do not seem to be scary just lounging on the roofs and trees close to where they lost their lives. I have seen one or two adults with them also who could possibly be the bus driver or other people but they seem to be relaxing and looking to see what’s going on around them.
When it was one tran track it was like a hill top , you would stop were the telephone pole, and it was level put the car into neutral and the car would move up the hill and over the track ,i was there in 98 or 99 .
It has to deal with how the road was. It was an optical allusion. And the oil from your hands on the back of your car made the hand prints show up from your self
yeah I have heard about the baby powder staying because of the oil from shutting trunk. Also always thought it was odd to put your car in neutral on an incline. Just love the story
I went as a teen.. the tracks are on a slight slant so if you place your car in neutral, it automatically pulls forward.. not a ghost. This was back in 99.
I went there in 2000, I visited Texas and met a girl from San Antonio, Jackie De Avalos and she took me there with some of her friends. Did not test out the tracks...I was just capturing in my mind that "I was there"!...

Yes I was born in San Antonio all my family lives there.. I moved to Arizona when I was 8 and I remember visiting few times and yes used to be a lil hill up to the tracks and down hill once over.. u stop at the bottom of the tracks before not right on top.. and they push u over the tracks over the lil hill u would go down and tried it on a truck.. we poured baby powder and u can see the handprints on the tailgate of the truck
I did it with my aunt and sisters when I was like 7 , we pulled up and faced the opposite direction you were and nothing happened so we tried the other way and it worked we even did it a second time cause my sister didn’t believe so she put it in neutral and removed the keys and handed them to me and it worked a second time it was raining that day
I live in San Antonio and my first time checking it out way before they added the second set of tracks on villamain rd right before the tracks there was a little shack on the right before it turns on Shane rd.I had seen what looked like a little abandoned shack and there was an unexplained feeling of dread and what looked like a weird green mist moving in and out of the shack weird thing was there was no sounds of any sprays or movement around the area looked like it was left to rot
I heard about that ghost story when I came to San Antonio. I do feel like there are spirits around. On 2 occasions I have experienced some paranoia in this city.

Been trying out the road for far too long. Now, I pass by not thinking any significance of it. Years ago, the road's been fixed. Several decades ago, it might have worked as people flocked the area. Now a days, barely anybody have time to waste on an urban legend. If it was working, it would have made world news headline packed with ghost hunters from all over. I heard people saying things, but I never witnessed it 30 years of my life driving through there. Even if nothing happened, I've been there before. Have fun. Find other things to do. It's what people say that keeps it alive and an urban legend.
This is actually been proven that it's an optical illusion. There's videos out there of someone who went with survey equipment and proved that there is a slight decline when headed towards the cross street
yeah, I know, it's a fun ghost story. You are supposed to stop your car on the train tracks and the ghost children push you off to save you, and I always thought it was strange how the locals tell you to stop at the incline before the tracks and then put your car in neutral. I was like well of course your car will move. Then plus why would the kids push the car if you were not on them in the first place. Anyways like I say it is a fun story. I don't discount that there are ghosts I just have not had an experience of any.
The bus incident didn't happen in San Antonio TX. It happened in Salt lake City. The hand prints everyone sees is from the oils from your own hands. It was debunked along time ago. Also what looks like uphill is actually a down hill
There's no such thing as ghosts. Once you're gone you're gone. As a matter of fact when you die you are completely asleep not able to wake up. You won't wake up until the day of judgment and you're standing before God awaiting your judgment and your faith based off of how you live your life and if you followed christ. Any entity that moves something or claims to be a ghost is actually a demon. People mistake ghosts for demons all the time. Once you're gone You're gone. God will not allow your soul to come back to earth sorry to bust your bubble guys. There are no little kids pushing your car over the train tracks.
yo im born and raised in texas done this before and this is not the way you do it and your so cool walkin in the tracks do it rite or get the fuck out of my city
I live in San Antonio. I too have seen the handprints of the children on the back of the car. The legend is true.
I went there and that is real , but we went at night and we put flour on the sides and we did see the hand prints.
yeah would of been better at night, it was slightly raining when we went
Yeah only think that only happens at night

it’s fake, it’s not the prints from the “children” it’s the oils from your skin from where u previously touched the car

I don't discount that there are ghosts I just have not had an experience of any.
You have to get out because a long time ago the lady got out of the car and yelled help and she came back with handprints on her car
thanx for the advice
whats the address
2902 Shane Rd
San Antonio TX 78223
I heard pretty much the same story about tracks in Austin.
I need to look that up, havent heard about them in Austin
The bus incident didn't happen in San Antonio TX. It happened in Salt lake City. The hand prints everyone sees is from the oils from your own hands. It was debunked along time ago. Also what looks like uphill is actually a down hill
And I think your not on the right tracks
it's the correct location, they added a 2nd set of railroad tracks
Not fun it’s scary
we love ❤️ scary stuff
There's no such thing as ghosts. Once you're gone you're gone. As a matter of fact when you die you are completely asleep not able to wake up. You won't wake up until the day of judgment and you're standing before God awaiting your judgment and your faith based off of how you live your life and if you followed christ. Any entity that moves something or claims to be a ghost is actually a demon. People mistake ghosts for demons all the time. Once you're gone You're gone. God will not allow your soul to come back to earth sorry to bust your bubble guys. There are no little kids pushing your car over the train tracks.
only a ghost would say that
You are doing it wrong
That looked more like flower
yeah my sister is ghetto
It does work. Those spirts are there. Go at night
yo im born and raised in texas done this before and this is not the way you do it and your so cool walkin in the tracks do it rite or get the fuck out of my city
Yooo! the only thing you'll do is kick cow patties and tip cows over, I'll leave your comment up so people can see how ignorant you are
