  • In this session of Counsel Culture, Nick Cannon and Dr. Umar Johnson sit down for their second session, to discuss the responsibility of the Black voice in the media. The two dissect the Hollywood troupe of Black men in dresses and even question if jokes have become too common of a coping mechanism in the community, and much more.

This felt like watching Nick in a counseling session trying to make his therapist agree with him. Bunch of rambling and splaining that makes him look illogical. Dr Umar has a ton of patience.

Thank you @morningcoffee1266. I was saying the exact same thing. I'm sure Dr. Umar had definite feelings about Nick and his many children not have the benefit of having their father in the house with them everyday, etc. Seems like Nick was making sure the Dr. didn't go there with him!

Nip’s family was discussing a project based on his life as well. He may have deferred to them or another director/company. Look at what happened around the time the Trailer for the Sebi doc was released.

Recent comedians still don't care about the pain it brings, incl. David. C., really just about all black so-call comedians use that term & i turn the channel they aren't even funny using the N word at all, no comedy skills. It seems like they are trying to impress their audience even though they r veteran comics!ThankU Dr Umar! One LOVE to both of U
