Super impressed with the work you've been posting. No nonsense, informative videos that have been incredibly helpful for a small shop like mine. Keep it up!!
I just finished building a cabinet almost exactly the same size and I was struggling to figure out the easiest way to attach those same hinges. Thank you for the hot tip.
For your inset kitchen, can you do a detailed how to style video? Explaining spacing, which hinges are used, slide setback, etc? I am doing an inset DIY built in. I’ve only done things overlay so far. I can’t find any videos explaining inset clearly.
I use all blum hinges, screw in, Blumotion. There are so many different back plate configurations. I also have a manual blum drill machine, what a time saver. Just got set up with a dowel joint tool to drill for back plates on the cabinet never used the quick cam hinges
@@NE_woodworks Just watched moths video dropping your channel and that you will be doing a project together super hyped for you!! that will for sure send a ton of traffic over here
Face frames: what is your standard design: flush with inside carcass on bottom and top, and some amount of overhang on edges? How much overhang? Also if flush with inside bottom and top do you sand and use filler to hide the seam or just let it ride with visible seam? Help out a newbie please! 😊
Saw the ct license plate and the way you were making your doors and realized you must have worked with mark at FFWW amazing shop Learned a lot there myself… Nice work
I hv incorporated so many of your way of building cabinets , why? I am finding for a small shop subcontractor like me it works. Tossed the rabbits, dados, square up with the back , shims setting doors, drawers. Just common sense stuff man and I was building them like it was load bearing wall above a steel roof? Now I focus on the drawers, doors of my custom vanities , cabinet extension. Thanks Josh! Hey throw in her name who makes your drawers ? Right now I use a shop I think in New Mexico ? But I will give her some business? I pay up front on that stuff. Great video ! Teaching us how to be finish carpenters !
@@NE_woodworksI’m a retired RN and hobby woodworker. You should try barrier cream (brand name is Gloves in a Bottle) in the shop. We use it in the hospitals because we have to wash our hands so frequently that our skin gets trashed. I found that I don’t get many splinters when I use it. It doesn’t leave residue on the wood so no issues with finishing. It also seals your pores so finishes and glues peel or wash off easily. One application a day is sufficient and at the end of the day a good scrub with warm water and soap is all it takes to remove it and have nice clean hands. I am enjoying your videos!

It would be great to see a video with your drawer maker. See how she works etc? Keep up the good work, great videos.
Thanks for the idea!
Great tip on using the biscuits as door spacers. I learn so many little things by watching these videos
@@JoeMasters-b7y thanks Joe. It works great
@@NE_woodworks Even just that you put the doors on with the cupboard lying down is great. Perfect placement of hinge attachment inside :)
Love that tip with laying the bar over the biscuits.
Yeah it works well

Nice work
Hahaha that’s hilarious. I did work for mark at FFWW. For about 4 years. When did you work there?
2021 for about a year …
You?
How is the PNW
Compared to ct
@@chrissimonds733 I was there from 2015 to 2018
@@chrissimonds733 it’s amazing out here. Way different than CT
Only three hinges used on an 86” tall door, will that be enough?

That’s so cool man. Thanks.
Unfortunately my drawer supplier won’t ship
@ well it’s ok usually the good ones have plenty of business to mess around out of town ! God Bless
Do you give your drawer box supplier the dimensions after you’ve built the carcass’s, and not try and guess? Thx
I just found your channel with the recommendation of Bourbon Moth Woodworking.
@@charlestreadway6491 Thats awesome. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy the videos
What kind of screws are you using?
That rustic look is killer! I do live edge work and you have to think a bit differently. What kind of plywood are you using?
Oh cool. We used pre finished birch ply
Just subscribed to your channel buddy. Can i ask you if the grizzly slider is worth it? Considering the purchase for my shop.
Thật tuyệt vời của mẫu thiết kế rất đẹp và sang trọng ❤❤🎉🎉
