I like the idea of Percy being a hodgepodge of GWR and Saddle tank engine parts as he is a very unique and fantastic character! This is also my head canon of his engine design and while I do love his classic whistle, it’s nice that in your take, he has the Magic railroad whistle.
@@TheMagicRailroadStudios2000 My headcanon for Percy is that he was built in October 22nd 1933 from the workshop he was purchased at and was Bought bye sir bertram topham hatt on May 23th 1934 after the big engines started their strike in late April of that year he was painted Northwestern Shamrock green with red lining side rods and buffers and a black running board he has his TV Show Bolier but has the same somkebox from Tramway engines the book other then that he remains the same.
My take on percy is,his name is John P. and he is a avonside b3 0-6-0 saddle tank engine that came to the railway 1909 along side Doreen aka old slow coach as maintenance engine at first but than a station pilot and until he is on a branch line sharing with others including James.
My take on Percy is actually built at Crovan’s Gate Works by Sir Topham Hatt in 1926, just so he doesn’t put up with Gordon’s moaning and whining about shunting trains. “He wants a shunter, I’ll give him a shunter alright and this shunter will be the best shunter this railway has ever had whether Gordon likes it or not!”.
I love Percy! Both in the classic seasons and CGI! You just can't hate him! ❤️

You could not be more correct about his canon whistle, bro! Ear-piercing. This was pretty nice! Like it!
