    Very well done, before I watched your video I damaged a supply or return line that goes from the top of the filter housing to the top of the turbo. My truck is , I think a later model and has it seems, more stuff in the way. By coincidence my cooler set up was very similar to the one shown, thanks. (02 4300 Lopro, DT466)

      Yes, if you let it go too long. It can effect your Radiator Cores causing you to have over heating issues

    Hello, I have a 1996 international dt466 and the coolant goes straight into the oil pan and oil goes into the reservoir. Do you think the oil cooler could be the problem? Thanks in advance. Loved the video too.

      Hello,
      You have ever two problems. 1. One of the Piston Liner has a bad O- ring which would cause coolant to leak by. 2. It could be a blown Head Gasket. With what you told me. It would not be the Engine Oil Cooler. You will need to do a pressure test and remove the Oil Pan to determined which Piston Liner maybe leaking.

    What were your initial symptoms? Anything besides oil in the coolant? Coolant in oil, or overheating?

      It had oil in the coolant. It had not started overheating yet. Caught it just in time. I have ran across some that over heated to the point that I had to remove the radiator. And have a radiator flush it out by a radiator shop.

    Is that the same metal coolant line that came off the original? The metal line on ours is broken on the end that goes into the engine and I'm hoping there's a way to replace it, because I don't think it's fixable

      It's the same original line. I never had to purchase one. If the International Dealer can't help. You may want to try the Hardware Store.

    Good morning Sir, there is a regulator valve behind the cooler, can you please tell me how to remove it for inspection or replacement?
    Thank you in anticipation.

      Hello,
      If I am not mistaken. You are referring to what I call a Heater Control Valve. You may need some PB Blaster and a good pipe wrench in some cases. Water sometimes seem to make some items more difficult to remove.

    I may had missed it in the video. My questions is why couldn't you reuse the old oil cooler and replace all the seals?

    • @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892
      @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892  Рік тому

      You can reuse the old Cooler if you are repairing a external leak. The Cooler on this Truck was leaking internal. Which gave me no other choice but to replace it.
