Rogers Communications scored the exclusive contract to bring Apple's iPhone to Canada on July 11, 2008. However, thousands of consumers complained about the cost of iPhone plans on their network - commenting on how restricted and expensive their plans were compared to other countries including their neighbours south of the border, which ultimately led to Rogers improving their offerings.
