Absolutely chaotic, no respect to any rule. Onitsha as a busy metropolis, even the local government will start making billions of naira if the enforce their laws on people blocking walkways and trading on top of the gutters. This is sadly common in the entire big cities of southeast. We should do better than all these. Obeying laws and ordinances of the cities must be followed strictly otherwise it’s same chaos and reckless behavior all over Aba, awka owerre etc. we need attitudinal change period.

No. Those people are trying to survive in a City. You have to build Shopping Centers with Stores for those Traders on top of Gutters first. Then have them relocate there. But old Cities like Onitsha , Aba etc have no Land Space NEAR the City Center where the Markets are usually located. Best is to RECONSTRUCT the Roads that are already there and COVER the Gutters with Concrete Blocks and allow small Traders to sit on it to sell their items ( vegetables, Groundnuts etc. ).

Nigeria # one problem is garbage + sewage = disaster. Until the people and government understand ,nothing will improve.

Just look at how disorganized the road is. When are we gonna get things done right my people. Everything is not about government but we the citizens also. All this keke drivers should stick at their parks and passengers will go to their park to use them. No sanitation. I expect to see a committed and serious law enforcement without bias in any government that will work well. God bless Anambra but please my people let's try to make things right .

Soludo said the road will last for 20years…. But is not up to 6months… who is the blame? In other to avoid blames or reoccurrence Soludo should get a better construction company but is like impossible for him…then both the Governor and the construction company is liable. Those disgusting and quack jobs must stop

We have a long way to go as Africans. Seems more like we’re assisted to this dirty roads and open drainage system in Nigeria, you only see the real covered drainage in places like Awka millennium City, that is something that should be in every road. Not all this low budget infrastructure and we claim to be giant of Africa. If I ever become governor someday as I have in my life plans, I’ll teach this old men how a real city is built like. No be say I no go chop small but my pride will be in what I’ve done because no be that money carry me come. Forget federal money, we can have roads like in dubai if we want but greed has taken over the minds of these old men who should be setting example for the younger ones.

You don't have to go as far as dubai. Check out namibia ,botswana, South African, rwanda ,morocco and even right next door in the country of benin 🇧🇯.

Governor Soludo is exceptional in his governance but he should constitute a project monitoring committee that will be supervising all the projects in and around Anambra on weekly basis... Most of these contractors are deep corrupt.. We cannot achieve our desired goals without that.... Just imagine how most of these roads will be in next few years compare to present damages already recorded. It is a shame.

The commissioner fault. The governor can not be everywhere. The commissioner for works is not serious. With what you are showing , he is not on the ground

    Chaotic.
Where is the Dubai Soludo promised ndi anambra ?
Nigeria will be 64 come october, still these people live in chaos and filth as if where animals are kept. All what the leaders do is patchy, patchy road work instead of sit down with architects and create beautiful environment for the people to live and carry out daily activities. May be it is destined southeast not to have beautiful city or town, otherwise I don't understand why these governors can replicate in their states the good things they see in their travels.

Build roads with open gutters, for this 20 first century, it's doesn't make sense,... It's like building houses for mosquitoes.

Is the anambra state ministry of works who supervising this road blind ? If not I don’t see the reason for all this nonsense error yet they kept there quiet or maybe they have taken bribe.
