it's good the gov't finally listened to public opinion and commenced the covering of the open gutters, but next time they should sit down at the planning stage and get these things settled on plan before going out to commence construction. how a world-travelled and enlightened professor signed off on a plan that included open gutters is quite annoying to some of us who expected better from him!

Aldo, while they are closing the drainages let them make provision in situations where the gutters needs to be desilted

Can't y'all see the error in those walkway? The new covering of the drainage has blocked the canal for water to flow into the drainage from the roads. Shabby job by the contractor I must say. They should have factored covered drainage from the onset and not as an afterthought.

Just this covering of the drains … sophisticates the project … now it show this project is not a joke

Please Yangalife kindly give us updated on agulu lake resort. The Agulu resort is expect to be one of the best resorts in Africa considering the topography of the terrain. On this note i want to advise our listening governor to make agulu lake a place to come and see. I also recommend that, is the perfect place to have a zoo, which can be segmented to different cities within the resort. Eg snake city, Lion park, elephant park etc. We can go on and on. Goff cute should be also a perfect consideration, cable cars for easy accessibility. We can go on sir with so many things.

I noticed that this road lack road markings and one thing I want to encourage our south east governors is to start awarding roads contracts including covering of gutters in the contract this one of major way to beautify roads and a city, they should learn because the world is vastly advanced

I will never accept sand dunes on our roads....Our streets need to be kept clean and that is not debatable

I hope this road barricades have space for peope who want to make u turns into other streets and areas, a lane beside the dualization should be marked for diversion for that purpose.

Will the bridge be expanded?

An iron should be installed across the flyover stating the maximum height of vehicle to ply on the flyover bridge. All articulated trailer or trucks should use the ground road, on no attempt should a truck or trailer ply the on the flyover. Only private and commercial mini van vehicle should use the flyover.

The contractor handling the road with gutter the part of the road is small, you first get the dualized road first before gutter..... Look at the other contractors nice road well dualized when the put gutter no stress. Think the government have to look into this factor with this video

We should be more intentional with the way we organise our cities. The whole place is looking shabby, with open drainage everywhere.

If ANSG wants to make more money they need to build car parks with a fee for parking. Honestly it will generate funds.. it will cure the side road parking

If you park your car indiscriminately it should be impounded by the government! If you park at designated spot beyond 1minute the clock starts ticking for you. You will pay a certain amount per minute. That way government will make money and people will be more disciplined. It is not rocket science.

Please someone should kindly ask Gov Soludo to request for side walk on all his roads. Also those open gutters need to be covered for heaven’s sake.

Without designated parking spaces at strategic locations, people will continue to park indiscriminately on the roads. Properly managed public car parks can even generate revenue for the government. Additionally, loading and off-loading bays should be mapped out along the roads, strictly for smaller trucks and vans. This highlights the need for enforceable standards in shop and store construction. Policies should ensure that shops provide adequate space for loading and offloading, with no goods spilling onto the roads. Functional pedestrian walkways are also a necessity, not a luxury. The inclusion of covered drains, well-constructed pedestrian walkways, and tree-lined roads would not only enhance safety and wellbeing but also improve the overall aesthetics of our urban areas. The added cost for these features would be a worthwhile investment. Another crucial aspect is the need for a modernised public transport system. The era of minibuses stopping at every corner should be behind us. A single well-managed bus can remove over 30 cars from the roads, reducing congestion while providing jobs and creating an eco-friendly environment. With Innoson already in the picture, there is an opportunity to develop a robust plan for building and maintaining public buses, ambulances, security vehicles, agricultural harvesters and tractors, road sweepers, and dump trucks. This structured approach could transform transportation and infrastructure over time. What we need now is a focus on modern infrastructure that supports long-term growth, sustainability, and an improved quality of life for all.

Building one flyover for almost 3yrs now, soludo is the worst governor

If you don't want people to park by road side then provide parks for them well marked....I dont know why our people will finsh road construction without marking out car parks...where do u want people to park? Not even a central park ..its not proper...provisions must be made for people to park their cars either for free or u pay...

There's a walkway on the road to Isuofia , but no walkway on the one that leads to Nanka Government should do something about this idle parking

I. Who will remove the sands inside gutter? Two the north obey roundabouts because they have it whilist the east do not obec coz the do not have round abouts , in the whole Anambra state we have only 2 roundabouts 1 is Nwafor prizu round about nnewi and dmgs roundabouts Onitsha .. AWKA still have zero (0) roundabouts therefore people will not obey law if they are not introduced to such law. Meanwhile OKWADIKE IS STILL OWING NDI AGUATA … SOLUDO MUST PUT IT INTO CONSIDERATION TO DOUBLE WITH OKWADIKE WASTED 2 yearS.

If the outlined proposed road dualization projects are completed on time, then there is no stopping the Governor from rightfully assuming his exotic position of the father or chief architect of modern Anambra state.
