See massive multi billion mansions in igboland, and the state government doesn't see the need for street road network in these towns, just 1 straight lane isn't enough. We need all our streets tarred.

Oba has benefited and is still benefiting from her closeness to Oniitsha, in fact, she is like what maybe described as the new Onisha. But she should not be allowed to end up like most other towns and cities in Anambra State, conscious efforts should be made to provide the necessary infrastructure especially access roads , drainages and pipe born water to assist it in her role of helping to decongest Onitsha. Hopefully, the current Governor, Soludo, will do the needful.

Oba is newly growing suburb of Onitsha. The town would have developed past this, but they rejected Anambra airport project when it was proposed to be built in their town so it will be in between the two biggest cities in Anambra Onitsha and Nnewi.
Their youths are terrible and causing a lot of havoc in Oba and neighboring towns

@@outravelandtour I guess the greedy ones wanted to be selling it off to people to be building random structures just like it's happening today. All the plans to relocate one big market or the other from Onitsha to Oba have all failed. There is a market they built for more than 10 years now, and till today, not up to 30 people are trading in the big market. The structures are fast rotting away.

Oba didn't reject siting the airport project in their town, rather it was the government of Peter Obi that relocated the site to it's present location at Umueri due to the proximity of the proposed Oba airport site to Asaba Airport which is less than 20 nautical miles.

Anambra State (Igbos) must think out of box in solving critical infrastructures(access roads, power generation, NO More Open gutters....in this era of social media & internet world wide. In the eyes of the world, it makes us subhuman & put us on the same level as animals.. **Human waste collection plants/recycling** if possible in modular form, side walk , millions of trees to be planted and etc).
My out of box solution is one, which will not address this humongous problems directly, but one which will enable the solutions 100% and enduring.
The five South Eastern States must come together and create a massive town only for all maners of heavy equipments, machine tools, fabrication etc .

It's built up. But no roads whatsoever apart from the major road as well as a few closes that likely would have been done by property owners.
I think Anambra State government should look into doing at least the major arteries around the township since this is just a stone throw from Onitsha

@Ou Travels: Please I want you to upload a video comparing Oba with Abriba. And let people be the judge. Osumenyi with which you used in comparing Abriba is no match. Even Agukwu Nri is by far more beautiful than Osumenyi. Go back and take second look at both Nri and Osumenyi, and you would agree that Agukwu Nri beats Osumenyi by far.

    • @outravelandtour

I made that comparison based on what people were saying about the two communities, if you listened to my voice over you would have understood better why I did that... Again, even if I compare Abiriba with Oba.. Which do you think people will vote for as the most beautiful?... Again. Nri is not more beautiful than Osumenyi. I have explored those communities and am telling you.

@@outravelandtour: Well, if you say that Nri is not more beautiful than Osumenyi based on your own assessment, let me believe you so.
And as for me, as far as I saw how Oba and Abriba look, based on video show of both communities, to me, Oba beats Abriba, except on hinter road pavements where Abriba seems to rank more than Oba. If Oba should step up their hinter roads pavements, it will definitely outwit Abriba in all. This is for me. But then, my perceptions and sense of judgment does not represent everyone’s.

My friend what is in your Abriba to compare it with Oba, there are hundreds or even thousand of minimum 2 storey buildings scattered all over Oba housing business men and women from Onitsha and Nnewi, and you are using a glorify Abriba village to compare an urban town Turning into city, tell us how many business that is going on in Abriba town, the number of people living in oba alone supercede the number of people living in Abriba more than 50 times, more than 80% of people living in Oba are not indigene of Oba, so get your facts right before comparing Abriba with Oba.
