- This week's golf life action comes from Glorious Goodwood and some glorious golf was played!
I had the pleasure of playing Foooore holes with the legend Matt Le Tissier.
We discussed things ranging from his relationship with Glenn Hoddle, nightclubbing to Sausage and egg McMuffin!! This is the FOOOORE Hole Challenge ⛳️!!

Liked Matt the footballer…..love Matt the man…..he knows what’s up….the world is fucked, rigged system and Matt is one of the only footballers to speak his mind.

Brilliant Tubes Great to see Matt out with you , what a player he was at football , he kept Saints up in the top flight for many seasons . Also a nice guy I met him at Jeans house in Southampton run by Clic Sargent where my wife works looking after children with Cancer . you are playing well Tubes well done mate .
Another of a rare breed Tubes is Matt Le Tiss, a gentleman and indeed a scholar of the beautiful game. As I posted on the you me and a par 3 clip I met his brother a number of times during my time at a non league club. Matt actually signed for Guernsey to help them through an injury crisis the year they were promoted to The Isthmian league, I’m not certain if he played or was signed just in case he was needed.
I had to laugh during the clip when Matt was trying to squeeze the ball through that gap in the tree, not sure who it was maybe Robbie or Big Ang slowly taking cover behind the tree. 🤣🤣🤣.

Best player in the PL without a doubt.
1. If you watch the best Cantona goal, the best Henry goal, the best Bergkamp goal ++, you will always find a Le Tissier goal equal to those.
2. 209 goals in his career for Southampton. Southampton! Players like Cole, Owen ++ barely scored more even with playing for alot bigger clubs, with alot better players.
3. What other player has carried his team so much, for so long, keeping them in the PL for all of his career?
Best player in the PL without a doubt!
Just watched this episode and wanted to say what a great and humble man Matt is. I absolutely love his loyalty to his club, Southampton, such a shame more players are not as dedicated to "their clubs" as he was, such a great ambassador for the game. Having watched your current video's, it's great to see the massive improvement in your game. Long may it continue.

I met the legend a few years ago at a charity night, what a genuine nice guy the man is.
Quality mate, and what a legend Matt was. Shame the England set up was 20 years behind the times when he played because we needed a player like him. The fans were crying out for him to get played !! ATB MMMD

Had the honour to see Matt play his first and last game at the Dell.In my opinion the best player ever to play for Saints and that includes,Bale,Keegan,Shearer,Channon. A great guy and still a great ambassador for the club😁🇪🇦🇬🇧

What a lovely bloke. I saw him once at Goodwood races, he was writing out a betting slip in the bookies, I didn’t want to disturb him on a day out. I kind of wish I’d just said thank you to him, he was a pleasure to watch when he was playing. An entertainer.
What a game of golf that was equally tested that went down to the wire and what a performance. Matt Le Tissier came across as a knowledgeable, wise fellow and seem like a interesting character to get to know. Unlucky Tubes maybe next you’ll have the luck of the green on your side.

Favourite show on youtube with my favourite player. Big saints fan here, had the pleasure of playing le god at 5 a side a month ago was the best thing to happen to me in years. Keep up the great work tubes can't get enough of your golf shows

I have to be honest here Tubesy, I'm drawn here not for the love of golf.......I'm a Geordie, I know nowt about golf. But you have shown me, with the Don Le Tiss, that golf is a Gentleman's sport. Beautiful scenery, conversation, and when the going is good it's a buzz. I'm 47 now and never played on a golf course, ever. It's time that changed!

Le God played the beautiful game, the way it should be played. Stayed with the Saint's for the love of the game and our club, money wasn't an issue to Matt. Many Saints fan believe that Hoddle dropped Matt from the England team as revenge for not signing for Chelsea, they were attracting top-class players, such as Ruud Gullit.
A £10million bid for Le God, which would have made him the most expensive player in English football at the time!
But Matt stayed with the best team on the South coast "Our beloved Southampton FC.

I was lucky enough to meet le tiss on a holiday a couple of years ago and as a Chelsea fan I asked him how close he come to signing for Chelsea and he said not very close at all but came very close to signing for Tottenham when hoddle was there. I always thought we were close to getting him, would have been a great addition
