Nick’s explanation on why Miles wasn’t his favorite to defend had me rolling cause I could totally see that happen if Nick was just a bit more jaded and cynical
On that same line of reasoning, you could argue that Apollo is his second least favorite defense attorney (first being Kristoph obviously) for trying to indict Athena right before a guilty verdict.
Although, both led to a greater culprit getting tried for their crimes, so it's a lesser evil in the long run. I mean, who knows what would've happened if Manfred and the Phantom were left to roam about even for a little bit.

I feel like Nick doesn't have a real reason to hate Klavier, but idk if they've met yet when this is supposed to take place.
Yeah, I thought he was going to say klavier just because I forgot Payne existed and I just like him more.
Klavier is a straight up badass, his theme song is undoubtedly the best in the whole series, and he's certainly the most professional prosecutor who actually aims to be a solid example of what it means to be one from the get go. He's never dealt with Wright nor even Apollo falsely.

I never really thought about that, but yeah. He may not be the best at Prosecuting, but Winston Payne is a pretty fair and reasonable guy. I can see why Phoenix wouldn’t be against facing him.

You know, before that reveal near the middle, i was half expecting Phoenix Wright to be his favourite client; sure, he withheld vital evidence from himself on the back of a receipt, and he didn't pay himself to defend himself, but...i don't *think* he bothered himself again after that.
