How To Retract An Electric Parking Brake - Using Power and Ground

- In this video I show you how to retract a rear electronic parking brake when replacing the brakes yourself. I use a power probe to give it power and ground, but you can just rig up two wires straight from the battery. How to manually release an electronic parking brake. You don't need to go out and buy an expensive scanner. Just follow these steps. This particular car is lexus, however it applies to all rear wheel epb cars such as mercedes, audi, volkswagon, volvo, bmw, ford, chevrolet, buick, kia etc..

I was seriously wondering how to do this by hand.
You can unbolt the whole solenoid and turn it by hand..I think there are a few videos on youtube that show that..but if you have a power probe it's easy peasy lol
