The same exact sound and backfires as my old A4 B5 97' V6 2.8L... i could smell this car trough the video i can feel it trough the video and when you lit up that cig... man... i need to get me an S4 always wanted a 2.7TT it sounds so good AND GOD DAGN does this car drives like NOTHING else... one of a kind!! Such a joy to drive! Keep it or you'll regret it ;)
Lol this so true I’ve had mine for about 8 years and went stage 3 two years ago OMG it pulls and those RS6 turbos sound so good at WOT I’ve been threw 4 clutches they would weld to flywheel I finally got a stage 5 clutch I hope it hold my abuse lol I had it parked for 1 year I was tired of pulling the whole engine but it’s wrought it.

Oh hey! Loving the build videos! It's a lapel mic from Amazon: B00MRMU2HU hooked to a mic adapter for GoPro Hero 3 Black. Super old setup but GoPro seems to be the best at regulating the audio using an external mic. I don't recommend the mic because you never know when the LR44 battery will die and you could easily forget and leave it on, and then there goes your audio on your next use. I think picking up a mic like Tedward would be best and then simply sync it during editing or hook it up to the GoPro would be best imo. If you need more details feel free to DM: kimh.911

What type of clutch are you using? Is it sprung or unsprung? What about the flywheel?....I ask because I have a poly snub mount,stiff motor & tranny mounts,AWE dts with a poly mount,ECS Tuning diff mount & diff carrier bushings and I'm STILL dealing with this gross bouncy squishy feeling drivetrain movement at launch and between gear shifts. I am currently using the ECS Tuning RA4 conversion clutch with the 12LB flywheel and I'm thinking I need to ditch the sprung clutch......any advice because consulting the forums is a challenge.
It's an OEM replacement clutch kit by AASCO; RS4 clutch +flywheel kit done by Four Season Tuning. As for the drivetrain movement you're experiencing, it seems you have pretty much a check list so I would suggest to inspect again; I would focus on the rear diff in this scenario (mount and worst case; gears but highly doubt it). Also, try the driveshaft support bearing, I think 034 has a solution for that. I have a solid driveshaft on the car so that could be a good upgrade as well. Hope it helps!
Could be your driveshaft center support bearing. Or go with something like the 034 billet motorsport mounts. The billet/delrin trans mounts are the single biggest eliminator of drivetrain slack in these cars.
Scott Fugere well it definitely isn't the driveshaft support bearing....it was undamaged but I WINDOW WELDED any but the didn't get any better or worse.....I also have a DTS and of course stiff mounts so I probably won't invest in any other mounts now.
Transmission has been rebuilt with updated syncros from JHM and new input shaft. I want to say it's my license plate and frame making contact. The microphone is tucked by the license plate lights. Can't believe this video is from November...car is still good to me! :)

About 257,000km but only because I messed it up. I did a bad 2nd to 3rd gear on a pull and wouldn't let me shift into first gear at all. In the end, new clutch, flywheel and transmission rebuild.

I'm interested why users like you always comment "Oh seems a bit slow for 400, 500, 600 car" from a video...maybe you're just trolling. FATs is a good measure but tbh it's just a K04 car and I'm uninterested; fact is my car falls in the median for BW K04 cars anyway. I just wanted to test/share an exhaust video...of my "lil slow" car. lol

How many lbs of boost were you running for 400 at the wheel? Just curious, I have a b5 my self.
About 1.65bar = 24psi It tapers to 1.5bar = 22psi
