Just brought a red gum GX splitter and it's brutal on the wood splits perfect and now I know I will be getting the woodchipper and also the wood turn table for the massive rounds...I already have the work table. Absolutely outstanding and made for Aussie timber in mind.
I ordered this one out of Goulburn in the last quarter of last year. Came too late for the fire season several months later as there was Dealer confusion on the Log Lifter attachment. Fired it up recently April 19 and it spewed hydraulic oil everywhere. Put together with thread tape. Dealer says Redgum don’t supply “O” rings even though I pointed them out in the manual!!
This fellow says they offer a money back guarantee their splitters to split any piece of wood. Based on what happened with your splitter you should have been able to get your money back.
I’m splitting jarrah and bluegum Can’t fault the unit I work at a dealer for the red gum unit and we have had nothing but praise for the unit Was a period where we could get enough Users need to be aware that you may not even need to use the entire splitting cycle The deluxe has a 25 stroke length which takes 16 seconds I stack a 12 inch block at the base so I only need to use half the cycle length and therefore only 8 seconds for the cycle

Several emails and phone calls to Redgum and they choose to ignore? So much for backing your product! Why?

@@kdegraa wayy to slow and its still Chinese made,I.went for the bushranger 25t,bigger pump,bigger lines stronger build and wayyy faster.

What is hydraulic pump size?I mean cc?
