I hate TTS channels so much, it’s insane. If I see a short with TTS as the narrator, I instantly skip it. I hate waking up to my phone playing a video of space (sometimes 4 fucking hours. What could you be talking about) just to go back to sleep after going to the bathroom only to wake up to the same kind of content. Not to mention that I’m so sick of UA-cam pushing the same few videos from one creator. I had to unsubscribe and click “Do Not Recommend Channel” because I was so sick of seeing Ark 100 days or 7 Days To Die videos specifically from him.
I also hate those videos where someone steals some short film and has a tts explain the plot without linking the original or even mentioning it's name

me too, i get lazy content creator vibes when i see TTS in a video, especially in shorts, and to get on topic with the video, i don't like being told information by a robot, it just makes me feel like there's more potential to have misinformation

I personally believe that these channels are still better than most other youtube channels. I personally like how they lay out information in an easy to understand way and actually teach you something, unlike most of the slop that gets pumped out on youtube. Even so, I still understand how these videos can feel sloppy and/or repetitive whilst also being unentertaining.
Those videos literally just consist of some guy reading Wikipedia to you.
@@Idkpleasejustletmechangeit Yes, and that's precisely why I value them over most youtube videos. Reading wikipedia is generally a good thing, and for many it can feel quite boring to read, which is exactly why this is a good alternative for those who find reading hard/boring. This may not be interesting for most people, but it still aims to educate others.

The ball thingy is indeed from polandball (countryballs) but through a very indirect manner. Basically, the meta-politics community (a bunch of centrists and apoliticals that catalogue different political idealogies) adopted and adapted polandball into polbals (politics balls) to represent political idealogies. Then, the paint explainer (the first guy to make a dedicated channel for this stuff, actually, as far I know) used the polbals in his political idealogies video. Then, the content farms saw that he used it and started using it too.
Also, I am not christian, but redeemed zoomer is goated.
Those are the type of videos i'd have playing on background while farming in minecraft
I watched ONE of these videos and they were everywhere in my recommended for at least a month. It got to the point where every time I saw one, I would go out of my way to click the 3 dots and hit “Not interested” or “Don’t recommend channel”
Crazy there is a category of informationTube mixed with stickfigureTube, I call it StickformationTube

I respect the fact you like personality in information videos, but some people (like me) enjoy with just info and nothing else like learning in schools, but I get to choose the topics that interest me, and luckily unlike other channels these MS paint people almost always tell true facts, it makes me feel cultured and it feels like it’s more free from bias since there is less added on to what is really just facts.
Anyway I respect people who dislike this content as long as y’all acknowledge people like me watch these sincerely.
YES!!! I’ve been hating these types of videos on UA-cam ever since they’ve been uploading. They just took Redeemed Zoomer’s style, made more videos with the style and expected to get the same amount of views. All of it is just copy and pasted format.

My special interest is psychology and it physically pains me everytime i see one pertaining to it, particularly the mental disorders because they water down and stereotype them so badly. Saw one that was "explaining every mental disorder" and then it only talked about less than twenty (all being the most known).

The first one of these I got was The Paint Explainer's All Logical Fallcies Explained video, from what I could tell he was the first one of these no personality glorified wikipedia readers to blow up and the one who everyone copied
I remember seeing one guy do this type of thing and thought it was an interesting format and then everyone started shamelessly copying him

finally i see someone talking about these!! i hate these videos so much, they're incredibly lifeless and soulless. i feel like these people don't want to actually help spread information, and they're instead only doing it because it's working for others. of all the content farms i've seen this is one is one of the worst...not as bad as ai of course. and also all of them are just wrong!! you can't explain "every" type of something in any reasonable amount of time. god i hate these videos

I watched one of these videos when they first came out awhile ago (I think it was "Every Logical Fallacy" ?) and I thought it was a fascinating video, so I went to the sources and it was literally just wikipedia and my fascination dissipated. Viewers would basically get the same utility from skimming the wikipedia page quickly, and the poster is just taking advantage of people's attention being on youtube and not wikipedia. Using only wikipedia as a source is basically plagiarizing the source and hoping nobody notices. I just checked the video again and it looks like it has more than wikipedia now but damn its giving 8th grader writes their first essay with citations.

Everyone’s just cloning The Paint Explainer, I mean I think so. I know there was someone before him but I think he was the first one to make an entire channel out of that format on not just one video out of it like the original.

I like these videos, they help me understand niche topics in a short amount of time. I like just pure learning something new, not everyone needs loud brain rot or a long intro.
You should consider making a slight change to your channel name to make it more unique (I like the channel name its good) but it doesn't come up when you search it.

glad i'm not the only one who's noticed and is getting tired of seeing these content farm videos everywhere. to me the more egregious and annoying ones are the Samonella clones where they'll have this stickman character and a bunch of other things poorly drawn in MS Paint clearly trying to copy his thumbnail formula. they're so irritating.

i liked this type of video the first time i saw it but then i saw 20 more and was just disappointed, like at first it was explaining types of things but then people started covering specific events and stuff where i feel like this format is just pointless. a lot of these videos could be their own thing and could add some personality but they simply copy the dumb format
