Matt when the fisherman drags the fishing line(s) usually with many hooks behind the moving boat..that method is called TROLLING..It is usually a steel trace line used for catching the bigger fish including sharks.. Great video sir.

That very dark part of the meat around the spine is called "burn". It is caused by adrenaline from the spine and reacting with the meat while the tuna is fighting for it's life during capture. The amount of burn is a factor in determining price per kilo especially for sashimi due to it affecting flavor. Adrenaline will also affect flavor past the dark areas. Longer you fight the fish more burn is will have. The highest quality tuna are caught in colder waters, landed, killed and bled quickly.

Labor is very cheap here, you can hire a qualified plumber for as low as 500 php/day. I had a plumbing problem once during my 4 years here and had to pipe the kitchen sink pipe using a spring.
