- Howdy howdy! For dessert from our week spent on Siquijor I left Mrs. Krystyna and the Polish food she offers, from exotic food we return to Polish fine culinary classics. Maricar for the first time in her life had the opportunity to eat pierogi and kopytka which, accompanied by goulash, disappeared momentarily from the plate.

Byłem u pani Krystyny i zamówiłem wszystko co ma.
Porcje nieduże takie Filipińskie.
Ceny też niezbyt małe.
Namiastka polskiego jedzenia.
Wykonane z filipińskich produktów smakują prawie jak polskie.
Pierogi, kopytka, i tak dalej, od smażone na tłuszczu na patelni.
Pani Krystyna bardzo sympatyczna kobieta ale również bardzo zmęczona.
Ponieważ sama musi wszystko ogarnąć i przygotować a ma już 75 lat..
Wielki szacunek dla pani że postanowiła zrobić coś takiego.
Taka bardziej ciekawostka turystyczna niż prawdziwa polska restauracja.
UA-camrzy z Polski będą tam jeździć żeby mieć więcej kliknięć 😁😁😁
Ceny wg mnie nie są wysokie biorąc pod uwagę lokalizacje za 200-250 php można się spokojnie najeść. Z resztą recenzji się zgadzam. Dla mnie super sprawa po pięciu latach zjeść pierogi, chyba kiedyś spróbujemy zrobić sami z Maricar albo chociaż gulasz i kopytka zmajstruję ;)

Any kind of stuffing works ;) In Poland, the best fruit filling is strawberry

WOW! Who woulda thought that of all places remote Siquijor would have a Polish restaurant! Coz even here in Glendale California I only saw one Polish restaurant but plenty Filipino & Armenian stores & restaurants!

Wow! I'm glad to learn that Siquijor, the island where I was born, already has a Polish restaurant. I would definitely visit there and eat Polish cuisine when I got home. Polish cuisine, especially pierogies, makes me to miss Poland so much.

My wife was half Hungarian and she could make it right... I never had any better except for her mom's... My daughter learn from her mom and she makes it the same way OMG... I am from Massachusetts USA, my maternal grandparents were polish, when I first met my wife and went to visit her in Manila I was shocked to find a cafe that served polish food on the seaside near mall of Asia , perogi and kielbasa it was amazing.

That's insane! A Polish restaurant on a remote island of the PI. What town is this restaurant in on Siquijor? I have been to Poland a few times because I used to take the train across Europe to Ukraine. Many times I got off the train in Germany and Poland to enjoy the beer and the food. I also love Poland. Great beer, great people, great food - same like Ukraine. I love my Ukrainian people too. I am from Texas - born and raised.
In the Pierogi what fillings are there? My mom makes kraut and mushrooms they are the best. Summer time we do fruit inside pierogis and she makes her own "whipped cream" for the outside. Zajebisty z smak! Enjoy guys! 🥰🥰🥰
They were Russian dumplings, so potatoes and some cottage cheese. We have to make some dumplings ourselves

You can't compare. For me, Filipino food is different. Completely different. Filipino don't use many spices.
So Polish food is spicy?
Spices mean the word spice refers to any dried part of a plant, other than the leaves, used for seasoning and flavoring a recipe. I don't mean spicy.

We are Negros Island now. It's another Island. And that restaurant was on Siquijor Island. Google map is key if you are curious 😉

Not really. It's just a matter of patience. Negros and Siquijor is very close. Just one boat and you're there.

How are you handling the Visa process in order to live over there long-term. The SRRV is currently suspended for my age group right now and I'm interested in the options for renewal of tourist visas in order to stay there until age 50 and am elegible for a retirement visa.
