You probably can't do that in a bodyshop but when I worked as a mechanic, every time I got a car in the shop, I would open the driver window enough to get an arm through there as part of my routine. I have seen too many colleagues waste precious time trying to unlock a car with the keys inside!
That is a good method to follow, but with dust in a body shop and washing the car all time makes this hard. And you're right, this is a waste of time....that don't pay you. Thanks for watching!

With regards to the front doors with my car the locks are up on the top of the door near the window but when my car is locked the front doors the lock goes right down so you can't really grab it, my back doors are better because even when they're locked there's a good part of the lock that you can grab. I'm just wondering where I could keep a little bag of items because my purse is small and if my key fob is in the vehicle I can't get into my trunk LOL.
Yeah, this tool works best if you work at a shop and lock the keys inside. If it is your car, then the tools are probably inside the car like you said.

Also if you bend the coat hanger the right angle you can use it on locks on top like the plastic thing you used did the same method

The method at about 2:00 worked for me! Car door accidentally shut as I was jumping it. I was able to flip the lock!!! Thank you!
