Great video! I really like the commando rework, definitley a solid tower now. Interesting to see an increase in ability-reliant event towers like harvester and commando though, whereas for most towers abilities are kind of a fun add-on
Does the medic and commander counts as an ability-reliant tower? I mean, they are not just a fun add-on. You have to use the abilities of those towers to make them actually useful. But I get what you mean, more ability-reliant towers that wont do as much damage compared to when you use their ability.
Fun Fact: Commando can trivialize Fallen Guardians + wave 39. His missiles can stun fallen guardians, giving your other towers extra time to deal with them. Wave 39, which is the hardest Fallen Guardian push, you can also target your missiles at the Fallen Jesters, that way stopping them from applying bloated and nimble to the guardians.
I’m annoyed at tds for what they have done with the event towers. I am a player who started during the sfoth event and played all the events since getting every event tower, and something about seeing something you worked hard for and spent time and dedication to the game on just get put on sale for people with like 20 dollars to buy is really annoying for me. I get that the players who weren’t around during those events really want the towers but they no longer feel like events and just like normal towers the devs can bring out to get some cash. Sorry for the rant I have been annoyed for a while
@@GlitchedGaming2024 actually when paired up with commander dj (red track) merc base medic and the firerate and dmg flag with the chocolate bar he has 1,113.dps here for the calc just rq dmg 96 firerate 0.23 cirt 96×4=384 he hits 2 times dealing 192 dmg the 3rd one is crit 384 and he hits 2 more times the regular attack which is 192+384+192+384=1,113 dps 👍 so he can be a great boss killer

@JLL_29 yeah that's true id argue they are also ability reliant, but yeah as you said I'm more referring to offensive towers that are ability reliant
