Accel being a bit higher than Ranger is definitely a no, Accel is very suceptible to any stun attacks. Even with medic you'll still have a huge downtime of him not attacking. And with the recent modes/events being really stun heavy, Accel should be atleast on par or a bit lower than Ranger

Also, if you think about it, Gatling has better cost efficiency, and has infinite range. Engineer costs a total of ($322,200) to max out all 6 Engineers with a CE of $133. While for Gatling, it costs a total of ($228,750) to max out. Furthermore, even if just 2 enemies are pierced at all times, it's already producing 1852 DPS, with a CE of $123.5. Additionally, Gatling is also abled to be buffed, stun-proof at all levels, and great with multiple players due to it's 1 placement. While, I'm not entirely glazing on Gatling, for a DPS, it's clearly doing it's job better. Overall, while Engineer and Gatling are good, they really shouldn't be compared as they have their strengths and weaknesses in respective categories. Instead, it is advised BOTH are used to complement each other when making a loadout. Anyways, video was good, I agree with the rest though. Enough yapping, that's all. 🍷🗿

I place engineer snd i forget about it, same with turret, gold mini, and pursuit. It’s basically sacrificing a whole slot for a tower that you are forced to control for max dps.

'accel is rlly consistent' my ass. every time I or my teammates use it it's instantly stun abused in the harder gamemodes, and is overkill for easier gamemodes
In most cases, especially in harder modes, Bosses might get through your main Defense, And in those cases towers like G-mini and accel can't damage them meaning you have to sell and replace them constantly, This doesn't Apply to Pursuit, Gatling, Nor Ranger. Which means that you don't have to replace them as much. Which in my opinion deserves extra points (plus Pursuit doesn't get stunned while ranger and gatling rarely do)
Great video, really enjoyed. In my opinion, the most powerful ability, that can any dps tower nowadays have, is stun immune. It is even more important, when playing hardcore, i was unable to get past wave 50, cuz my engineers were permanently stunned (and got sentries removed) by Uknowns, does anybody knows, how to counter it (unless playing with full stun immune loadout, with I dont think I will have enough dps for beating the Void Reaver. accel falloff needs to be studied back in my day it was the absolute undoubted best tower in the game and when the engineer was added it was still worse than the mighty accel

In my OPINION Normal minigunner is a 6/10. I know its good for beginners but the range is really the thing holding it back and there is no point of using it if you already have much better towers. Golden Minigunner 7/10. I don't really use golden minigunner because there is so many better alternatives. Turret 8/10. The 3 placement limit may hinder its potential but I see it as more space for other towers to be placed. Its DPS is already good enough for 3. Turret is really great in quad or events as its 3 placement limit allows to bring more DPS towers. For example: Farm Engineer - 6 Turret - 3 Pursuit - 10 DJ - 1 6+3+10+1 = 20 towers Exact tower limit for quads Accelerator 7.5/10. There is a lot of things holding it back example of this is charge up, the limit bar, and its not stun immunity. Finally the Gatling gun should be 11/10 no explanation needed 😂 The rest is I totally agree
Gattling has only 1k when max while accel has around 280 dps at max, 5 accels can already outshine gattling single target dps, it’s full maps range and pierce def carries it but in terms of single target dps it’s one of the worst ones so keeping it at like a 9 or 8.5 is better suited.
btw the ranger gets the most of buffs as it gets more damage cuz of 1.20k damage at max, more range b/c he's ranger, more discounts cuz of it high price,and finally he have a very slow attack speed so commander works the best on him.

i think gatling is a bit overrated, 6 engineer which is about 322k when all maxed out does like 2400 dps with some splash damage, gatling, which is about 220k to max out does about 1k dps on single target, which does 2.5k dps in maximum. But gatling is not always doing the 3 pierce unless the enemies are always stacked together. Do note that this is just my opinion and feel free to disagree. Edit: I deleted half of the comment because i realised that it made no sense, i think my main point should be: it is a level 175 locked tower and it cost 35k, what do you expect.

The title “Best DPS tower” is incredibly misleading. People probably think you’ll be telling them the best towers for late game instead of the best towers for END game. Incredibly disappointed, could improve.

Does accelerator really have 283 DPS? Last I checked its max lvl is 0.1 firerate and 40 dmg and with some simple math that’s 400 DPS and with all 8 of them max is 3600 DPS
one of the most inconsistant towers lol. as soon as its overcharge fills up and it needs to reload, any reasonably fast enemy slips by. also commander cant buff it, because even though it shoots faster, it runs out of overcharge faster which perfectly cancels out any dps gained from commander so it does the same dps even with 50% more firerate. stuns also absolutely destroy accel cus after the stun you need to wait 4 more seconds for it to attack, where it could get stunned again, and keep getting stunned, on and on
@@th30ne42 also accelerator is negatively affected by damage buffs since the overcharge meter for SOME REASON adds accel's current damage to it and not just 1 basically with damage buffs accel is on cooldown for longer than it shoots

Gatling gun needs a slight buff like allowing piercing through obstacles and the ability to mark enemies (or heat thermal vision)

Yeah. Ranger has better dps than most towers, including it's stun immunity and range. If there werent any support that are brought then Ranger will excel in it
i think gatling is a bit overrated, 6 engineer which is about 322k when all maxed out does like 2400 dps with some splash damage, gatling, which is about 220k to max out does about 1k dps on single target, which does 2.5k dps in maximum. But gatling is not always doing the 3 pierce unless the enemies are always stacked together.
Do note that this is just my opinion and feel free to disagree.

It's an amazing tower because it perfectly fits the current meta, the old meta used to be: just bring the highest DPS, now the meta is: high DPS, good range, stun immunity, this is why towers like ranger and Gatling are amazing, they are fully buffed, they have stun immunity, they have high DPS, they have amazing range

engineer has a placement limit of 6, which compared to pursuit and ranger, are worse off
engineer's unreliability to detect specific enemies in the early waves(flight, hidden and leads) is a loss for it's own purpose when you can bring 2 towers that detect it and is a useful sub-dps
engineer's sentry mechanic of not being able to be buffed results in LITERALLY ANY other dps towers AND sub dps towers to be superior(lit golden crook and merce with all set as field medic combo outclasses engineer by a WIDE margin LMAO)
engineer has to BUILD sentries, if it keeps getting stunned when sentries despawn, where are all the dps bro? vindi spam SHREDS the purpose of engineer despite being stun immune LMAO
engineer's detections are also pretty weak, like flight f.e. it'll get swarmed by the following; lead balloons, seraph and fallen angel, and not only that, if they were to be buffed by circuits/fallen jester, they get overwhelmed even more

Does accelerator really have 283 DPS? Last I checked its max lvl is 0.1 firerate and 40 dmg and with some simple math that’s 400 DPS and with all 8 of them max is 3600 DPS

one of the most inconsistant towers lol. as soon as its overcharge fills up and it needs to reload, any reasonably fast enemy slips by. also commander cant buff it, because even though it shoots faster, it runs out of overcharge faster which perfectly cancels out any dps gained from commander so it does the same dps even with 50% more firerate. stuns also absolutely destroy accel cus after the stun you need to wait 4 more seconds for it to attack, where it could get stunned again, and keep getting stunned, on and on
