  • This is the second half of our recent trip to Hobby, Texas via Southwest Airlines on 3/31/2024. Wheelchair users load first and exit last. This video will show the process of Chris' transfer from seat to aisle chair and then back to his power wheelchair. Total wait time for his chair to be returned up top was approximately 10 - 15 minutes, which really isn't bad considering how much luggage needs to be offloaded to get to his wheelchair. This was our third flight since Chris' spinal cord injury. We've had great success with Southwest Airlines and are appreciative of everyone who helped us on our journey!

SW is always my first choice for flying. Loved that the gentleman asked a couple times how he can help. All airlines need to take notes from him!

Eye opening to see what is involved with flying, transferring and exiting.
