This is valuable family points, you can tell your mom how you were a great brother and bailed out your sibling and saved the whole hillside and hundreds of acres from sliding toward the river potentially damming it and flooding thousands of acres….LOL
I think you need a wider driveway!😂 Aaron is definitely a big (little) asset to the company. Hard worker and he makes a good boss. Lucky he didn't at least dock your pay.😅. Thanks guys.
About to be here in Indiana...I am in the middle of 5 Forrest preserves...I can just sit on the porch and wait for them to get run out of the woods...lol
On todays episode of Dirt Perfect winter projects we are fixing our Mack dump truck transmission because I did not take the 5 minutes to adjust the clutch brake all summer
When the dirt and gravel hauling Puppy Dog is broke it no longer is “our Mack dump truck but rather Dirt Perfect’s dump truck and when it operational and running good then it’s our dump truck 😁
Every single guy I know who has a business like Mikes spends at least one full day almost every week servicing equipment (necessary fluid and filter changes, replacing broken grease fittings and more important issues) on a rotational schedule, with the exception of problems that need to be addressed more immediately, like, before they get sent out to their next job.
You are a good brother, Mike. I hope he understands just how much you are saving him. That was some nasty dirt and I'm not surprised it was sliding. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the resolution.
I swear this is the best channel on UA-cam. This was the best video yet. It’s always excellent entertainment. Such a beautiful place y’all have❤❤ thanks for such good videos
I agree with you on the best channel for sure. The peace and joy I am in when I am watching it sometimes blows me away. The only time that I enjoyed life more was when I was working for my friend who had his own backhoe and dump truck business back in the mid 80"s. loved the every other day different than the day before life.
Crash 2 is a good name for you, Mike. Must been daydreaming going up the driveway. Aaron is really going to be picking at you now. Thanks for the video 😅
'Crash junior' - love it. Great that MBTS captured this on film. Taht goopy mud would not stop anything above it from slip sliding away - great work on fixing this up - many homes in the area,
I like how you explain what you are doing and why Keep up the great work I can watch you guys all day long KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB Thank you and and god bless you
Nasty material down deep, no wonder the hill was sliding, just like it was setting on marbles, there would be no stopping the hill from sliding for sure, nice job gentlemen, nice you have a place to get decent soil. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
It would look good with 3 tiers of retaining rock walls like behind the house as terrance like with 6 foot flat areas for gardens. Maybe some rock stairway for easy climbing to and from the pond with a bench for resting during older years.. A little planning now this could be a family place to watch fireworks picnic etc.
Totally agree family come first, I've just learnt that for IT support with my brothers they need to wait 48 hrs. So nice to see you and MBTS help your brother, One day Mike you need to explain your solid connection to MBTS, is he Family or good friend? But, thank you for another good video 😀
Off the subject here but all the talk about crash reminded me of a funny story. some family of mine have dump truck business, and years ago they had a driver go down the road not knowing his bed was going up. He was catching the power lines that run above the road and actually pulled down several poles and pulled a box out of the ground. My Uncle said when he pulled up to the scene that old R Model mack was lit up. Driver had to stay in truck until power was turned off, I just remember driving to school that morning and that stretch of road looked like a war zone.
you could drill some shafts along the slope and fill them with rebar & concrete to connect the soil layers into the rock. or sharpen some old rail line and hammer it into the slope for same reason.
Mike don t worry about getting the Mack stuck ,all in a day for a Bull Dog ,cant understand how Mack arent sponsoring you, those two trucks of yours work hard but keep going strong. They view over your families property is indeed breath taking. Have a good weekend boys Kym Adelaide
Wow what a mess that is. I must be learning something, just as you pulled the first bucket of bad dirt out I saw what was coming, Dam what a mess. Keep up the good work Mike.
Inner curve and someone tried to cut even closer to save some time and how much time got saved... Solution widening the road :P Keep up the awesome videos
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Great video, never forget no good deed goes unpunished. Sometimes your not just taking payback but karma is banking good deeds for the future. Wishing you and your family the best.
That new DixiChopper really does a great job there bud…..lol. I went to a zero turn several years ago and would never trade or sale it for anything. It’s good to see family helping family but of course, you always seem to go the extra mile to help others out.
So that new area you and MBTS's have flattened out would make a awesome patio deck and BBQ pit spot for your brother. That view!!!!! Oh the neighbour's place?? Oh put up a screen!!! 🤣
Mike's hotrod puppy dog does wheelies today. Also, it's an incognito ditch cleaner. I was worried that you might roll going up and down that steep hillside, Mike. You definitely earned your paychecks from Aaron today. Hopefully, this will fix the issue for your brother permanently, Mike.
I'm sure you know, but for an addition to the information given. Water will naturally follow the ditch line. The pipe and rock makes it easier for the water to drain though.
It was just a matter of time before all that Crash Talk came back and bit DP in the butt! 🤣🤣 At least the Mack didn't get tipped on it's side and the dozer saved the day! Great job on the slip repair. That nasty sludge reminds me of some of the pond dredging and the piles being moved after they sat out in the sun for a while! I'm sure DP's brother is very appreciative of the repair job to save his property. It's also very convenient that DP is his neighbor and owns and excavating company! 💪💪 I have a feeling that Jerry was calling to let DP know that he is already started on the big pond job. I imagine Jerry will almost have it half done by the time DP and MBTS show up! 😎😎
That was really nasty, sticky, heavy, horrible stuff. Won't even grace it the tag dirt. I was surprised it didn't stick to the truck bed, that really would have been a pain! At least you have replaced it with decent dirt. Aaron did a lovely job of tidying up and compacting the new. Thanks fromUK.
Well at least you get to redo the driveway again, whether you wanted to or not, just tell the wife you just wanted to make the driveway better for her, don’t mention how you came to that decision.little project turned into major headache, came out nice, sure you’re brother appreciated all the hard work you put into fixing his problem.great video, great job.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
What is it they say about the best laid plans of Mice and Men ? And then OOPSIE ! In the construction game it's not never but WHEN stuff like this happens. Good recovery and good video Mike.
@ I did not clarify. Long gun season starts tomorrow. There’s been archery and youth, etc. Missouri. But now we get people from all over the country coming for tomorrow and the weekend and next 10 days
To comment on MBTSs slides, I live along a ridge. There was a small dip along the top. I say small in comparison to the whole ridge, but it was big enough to set a 1200 sqft Rancher in. No one thought much about it until someone started building a house about halfway up the ridge below it. That's when it was discovered that apparently there had been a slide, which stopped just above where the house was being built, many years ago. Excavation for the house removed the supporting ground and it slowly, and I mean 1 inch a day, began sliding down toward where the house was to be built. They tried pouring a concrete foundation 10 ft deep, 60 ft long, and 4 ft wide. It did not hold the weight of the dirt pushing against it. I do not know what they did after that, but the house was built and still remains today.
My Grandmother used to live in a house that was built on piece of land that had a terrace cut into for the house. Anyway about 8 or 9 years later the hill started to slide and she had a company come in and they basically drilled/pushed steel rods in the ground to anchor the hill in place. She had that done in 1975/6 and the hill hasn’t moved an inch since then.
Arron ought to bring a CD player with him to work and when you ask him if he’s ready hill bust out the AC/DC song are you ready and that will turn your crank
Interesting bucket. Is this one of Aaron's welding projects? You guys do have a knack for making some interesting pieces. That "dirt" looks like what we in Alabama call Mississippi gumbo. That soft spot is a good place to twist off an axle & really be stuck.
Good morning sunshines! Oh wow poor DP! MBTS giving you a hard time by calling you Crash Jr! Lol! Awesome video! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
Man, I feel ya! I absolutely hated hauling wet, sticky dirt! Fortunately, back then, I hadn’t watched countless videos of dumps goin sideways cuz the stuff stuck! And that little mishap? I think MBTS set you up for failure when he was grooming the road!
Should have just said you were trying to make some great content for us!🤷 I did giggle a bit though. What a mess of a job though. What a beautiful view for a home!
This is valuable family points, you can tell your mom how you were a great brother and bailed out your sibling and saved the whole hillside and hundreds of acres from sliding toward the river potentially damming it and flooding thousands of acres….LOL
Great job as always DP and Aaron. DP you do know Aaron will never let you forget about your little driving mistake
I think you need a wider driveway!😂 Aaron is definitely a big (little) asset to the company. Hard worker and he makes a good boss. Lucky he didn't at least dock your pay.😅. Thanks guys.
Bet those struck truck pictures made Crashes day☀️
Did the same thing quite a few years ago when hauling Grain from a temporary Ground pile. Once that soft ground catches you there is little hope.
Have a good day boys, it’s opening firearm season in Michigan. Good luck to all the hunters out there in be safe.!!! 👉🦌
About to be here in Indiana...I am in the middle of 5 Forrest preserves...I can just sit on the porch and wait for them to get run out of the woods...lol
Great job running the skid steer MBTS

@badmonkey3669 like you said 10 min at the most for clutch brake adjustment. Or replace some rounded gear corners
😂😂😂
I was thinking sort of the same thing 😂
You are a good brother, Mike. I hope he understands just how much you are saving him. That was some nasty dirt and I'm not surprised it was sliding. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the resolution.
Great job and video Mike getting stuck is golden many smiles around the world 😊 thanks Mike and Aaron

Aaron is really getting smooth in the taco. Thanks for the episode Mike!
Always enjoy Dirt Perfect Towing and Recovery episodes. Lol. Great video.
Good morning, let's get some work done today. November 15th. Local time time 7:01 AM North Carolina.
Crash 2 is a good name for you, Mike. Must been daydreaming going up the driveway. Aaron is really going to be picking at you now. Thanks for the video 😅
Dirt Perfect towing and recovery is back in business LOL
No this was the ever famous and rarely seen MBTS Towing and recovery rescuing DP Towing and recovery. Great video guys
It’s awesome how you take care of close friends and family. It is looking good!
Great job running the excavator Mr Dirt Perfect
Great job running the roller Mr Dirt Perfect and MBTS
Good for you DP for helping out your brother in fixing this issue. MBTS - good for you for helping DP get unstuck aka Crash JR 🤣🤣
Interesting how your fixing that slide. And I'm sure crash will have a smile on his face when he sees the picture.
'Crash junior' - love it. Great that MBTS captured this on film. Taht goopy mud would not stop anything above it from slip sliding away - great work on fixing this up - many homes in the area,

Yeah Mike, your rock wall looks awesome brother,! I like it! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Using your smallest dozer to push a heavily loaded truck. Very poetic.

Great Job MBTS...😂😅
You keep doing jobs that Lt Dan would really be perfect for.

Good job jr. That was some nasty dirt
You will core trench just about anything! Lol
Nice work!
Nice truck recovery!
Getting caught looking bad is painful especially with it on film😂
So that new area you and MBTS's have flattened out would make a awesome patio deck and BBQ pit spot for your brother.
That view!!!!!
Oh the neighbour's place?? Oh put up a screen!!! 🤣
Mike is still missin' gears after all these years!
What a great video ❤
Another great video Jr. Keep up the great work. 🤣😂

Hi guys love watching your videos and I got a good laugh when you got stuck keep up the good work love it
0606, Nov 15, NW Iowa, good morning guys
Do season starts Missouri tomorrow how about you?
Not sure. But I think there's been deer season already open
@ I did not clarify. Long gun season starts tomorrow. There’s been archery and youth, etc. Missouri. But now we get people from all over the country coming for tomorrow and the weekend and next 10 days
The nickname Crash is now transffered to another person. Thanks for taking that honour Mike!
Maybe next year they make you some rubber gears for you, seems all your dump trucks have that problem. Love watching your videos, they are awesome.

I’m learning a lot from you two. Good job!
Woohoo I'm the only Aussie watching at the moment you guys crack me up have a great day love yas cheers Jill Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks
I’m an Aussie too
Ask Farmer Chris if he has extra field tiles you could use. 😁
Good morning
I think I would put a drain line in front of the keyway to relieve any water pressure getting past the 1st one. It's all about the added security
This situation is where he would say, "It's 4th and long, and time to backup
15 yards and punt!"
Good morning from Glasco Ks ❤😊
Great video DP and MBTS. I bet MBTS sent that picture to crash within 5 minutes of it happening. Lol.
On a positive note, if you lay it over, you don’t have far to walk home.
Arron ought to bring a CD player with him to work and when you ask him if he’s ready hill bust out the AC/DC song are you ready and that will turn your crank
DP it is always good when being humble
This job probably explains why Google found the Case 140 along your road in September.
DP, I am sure you have heard the saying “if you can’t find them, grind them “
You talking about the nasty dirt brought to mind the Chick McGee Experience song Nasty Stuff, from Bob and Tom.😸
Interesting bucket. Is this one of Aaron's welding projects? You guys do have a knack for making some interesting pieces. That "dirt" looks like what we in Alabama call Mississippi gumbo. That soft spot is a good place to twist off an axle & really be stuck.
Nerves of steel 👍👍
