Bidah is how you are living today, why don’t you questioned that? If it’s not like the living of the first 3 generations, what Jihad are you doing to establish the deen? Stop attacking your Muslim brothers and rejoice the blessed Mawlid. Keep united and when the great fitnah arrives in the world you will find the help of Allah is that you kept united for the sake of Allah.
It does not seem justified to innovate, that was an exception for them. But even then, they were still fearful of their innovations (compiling mushaf). The 3 Righteous generations had that privilege, but later humans did not have that privilege. That is how i reconcile all the evidences
