Brilliant Classics has done it again! Bravi! to everyone at BC for once again unearthing these musical gems which heretofore were unknown to this listener and (judging by the Comments) more than a few others.
Grazie Maestro Genov!
Very intresting! Zamboni is like Corelli of the lute... but with neverending imagination and poetical freedom of lutenist. Love this master and this performance! Thank You!
Echt verborgener Schatz!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music on UA-cam. Now I understand why people saying, that Silvius Leopold Weis has mixed and played the type of Italian/French and maybe English way of playing Lute. It reminds me S.L.Weis music.
Wow and I thought Weiss was beautiful. Thank you so very much for bringing Zamboni's lute works into my life. Yours is one of my favourite YT channels!
I hope you've mended even just a little. I feel that my heart is broken, too. We carry on. It's an endless learning experience and experiment. Instrumental music is healing. Some of the greatest people of all time also suffered and felt pain. Love from one human to another.
The picture appears to have various antennae emanating from the pegbox of his arch-lute. His performance is quite good. Do watch the the background in future photos.

This composer is so unknown that even it.wikipedia has no page about him! Thank you for recording these beautiful sonatas and sharing
And i thought Zamboni was an ice dressing machine used at hockey games.
@@michaelwalter3399 I thought Zamboni was an Italian dessert.
This is again one of your brilliant uploads where I thought I'm going listen a while and then listen to the whole recording. Thank you !

I'd say it's even more like Bach. The first track is very similar to the first piece in Bach's cello suites.
Wow and I thought Weiss was beautiful. Thank you so very much for bringing Zamboni's lute works into my life.
Yours is one of my favourite YT channels!
An expertly performed collection of absolutely wonderful lute pieces. Thank you for sharing.
This night my heart is broken into 1 million of pieces

Ventidue anni prima di Weiss e anni luce avanti!

What about Yavor Genov?
❤️♥️💜✨✨✨✨✨🎼
I am so very shocked upon falling on this composer and his relaxed compositions. Very little is written about him. Why!
what is that clicking sound in the background?
I think it might be the chair, or sometimes it sounds like it’s the dampening of the bass strings with the thumb of the right hand.
Sounds like Silvius Leopold Weiss....
Not so mathematical, but I find him prettier than Weiss, more sweetly singing, warmed by Mediterranean ayres.
